"Do I Know You?" - The question asked by countless WoW players when looking for a group, someone to trade 400g of enchanting mats to, or just chatting in the Barrens.

This addon helps you and your guild keep track of those people, by storing your opinion of them and a note, and making this information easy to see by adding it to your tooltip and automatically informing you when interacting with others.

The real power behind this is guild usage. This addon uses the guild shared data channel to share your opinion of other players, so you can be informed of potential without ever seeing them before.

Features:

Set notes for players of both factions
Display rep and notes in tooltip
Share data with guild
Notes saved across characters, pug with one, avoid on another!
Auto-query other players when interacting (grouping, whispering, trading)
Adds a rep indicator to players' names in chat!
View rep + notes on your friends list.
Data browser to search your saved data

I am Quite impressed, I would sugges making it where a person can rate someone on a scale of 1 to 10 or 1to 5 somthing like that.

I'd be interested in a way to share my notes/ratings and receive other people's notes/ratings anonymously and with more than just my guild.

either via a channel, or, if necessary, a lua dump and merge, although I'd much rather see a way to share in game.

Especially if I have a way to whitelist/blacklist syncs with individual players by name.

I have a relatively large group of people I pug with on a semi regular basis, this addon is great for remembering specs and especially how good/bad a player someone is, but since most of us aren't in the same guild, I can't sync my notes/ratings with my pug circle.

I want to be able to see what feedback my unguilded priest friend left for the random shammy he pugged with last night, etc...

I hope this request is clear enough, I can come back later to clarify...

man this add-on needs more attention than its received so far! I use this add-on to indicate people's professions, if they have a certain prof/spec abilities, if the toon is someone important's alt and also to quickly identify what spec they are (I indicate it in my notes). A green or red "!!!" displays next to the user's name in any chat window (Trade, group, guild or otherwise). This is a MUST-HAVE!

i use WIM but when some1 whisp me and he is in my list i don't see the '!!' near the nick in the window... it's can be solved?

You would have to ask the WIM author to make the DoIKnowYou addon compatible with WIM. I don't think there's anything the DoIKnowYou author can do about the features and capabilities of the WIM addon.

one of the best addons i found so far.
just wondering... we have been usign this so much that the guild officers came up with an "officer note" idea. Can u add the option to allow officers to write in stuff about players from the guild? would help allot to manage huge guilds.

Feature request, if this addon is still being worked on -- a sort of "Karma" like rating instead of only a "Negative" and "Positive" rating. With the karma ability to rate as high or as low as one wants, you can then determine just how awful the player is -- someone you can deal with again in a group (just a minor annoyance) or someone that needs to be on the ignore list and avoided like the plague. Maybe even add an "auto ignore group invites" option if a player is below a certain rating threshold.

Congratulations!
I wanted something like this a loooong time ago =)
Even thinked about making one myself but I don't have the time...
However you need help with tips, testing, a website, etc call me ;)
