DrDamage
Update 05/24/2013
DrDamage is currently being developed for 5.x. Only monks (of any spec) are not supported. All classes which existed prior to Mists are supported.
Current state: Check the http://www.wowace.com/addons/dr-damage/pages/known-issues Page before providing feedback!
DrDamage displays the calculated damage or healing of abilities with talents, gear and buffs included on your actionbar buttons. The addon also adds various statistics to the tooltips in your spellbook and on the actionbar.
Slash Commands:
/drd or /drdmg or /drdamage

Functionality:
- Supports all classes
- Actionbar addons supported: Default, Bartender 4, CT_BarMod, Dominos, elvUI, Macaroon, Nurfed AB, IPopBar, nUI, ReAction Bars and RDX.
- Places text with the metric of your choosing on the actionbar buttons.
- Damage and healing statistics are placed into your tooltips. This includes for example critical hit chance, spell damage and damage coefficients, averages, DPS, DPSC (damage per seconds cast), damage until OOM and more!
- Your own buffs and your target's debuffs are taken into account.
- Allows manual modification of the essential talents, buffs and character stats used to calculate. For example you can test how much increasing your spellpower by 100 would increase your damage or healing output.
- If you're overwhelmed by the amount of statistics presented, you can use the options reduce the amount to whatever you feel is important!

Then look at the tooltip to get the desired mitigation %. You probably need to adjust armor later when you level up to keep your desired mitigation values.
Yes I've considered it, and it was almost added when Omen still calculated all the values instead of relying on Blizzard API. Back then threat values could've easily be provided when Omen was installed.
Now due to the relative complexity it's currently out of DrDamage's scope. A possible plugin isn't ruled out though if anyone else wants to write one.
Would it be possible to have an option whereby you select an ability, and DrDamage modifies item tooltips to say what %DPS increase would occur from equipping that item. You already have the "1% crit gives...", I assume it's not a huge increase.
Excellent and much used addon - thank you.
The Tier8 2Peice Set Bonus tooltip states "Increases the damage done by your Devouring Plague by 15%". I should imagine this affects both the talent and the DoT itself although I cannot confirm this.
I believe DrDamage does not correctly report the correct damage for Shadow Priests that have the 2Set bonus.
I am currently using r1026. This is my talent build. http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bVcbuooZZ0xfVRfzffqfzAo:aqh
Many Thanks :)
When using the 2p set bonus which part of the spell isn't correct? How much is it off? I'd need to know what DrDamage reports and what you're actually seeing. Also with that information knowing your spellpower is helpful.
I don't have access to all chars and set bonuses to test with, so the more information I get the better.
I'll look into mangle and rake.
Druid: The multiplier from mangle is only applied to the "base" hit of Rake, not to it´s DOT. Should affect both.
Also, would be nice to have an option to turn mangle-multiplier to "always on", regardless of whether the current target has the debuff.
Same deal for other important debuffs (e.g. Ebon Plague/Curse of Elements)
