DrDamage is currently being developed for 5.x. Only monks (of any spec) are not supported. All classes which existed prior to Mists are supported.

DrDamage displays the calculated damage or healing of abilities with talents, gear and buffs included on your actionbar buttons. The addon also adds various statistics to the tooltips in your spellbook and on the actionbar.

Functionality:
- Supports all classes
- Actionbar addons supported: Default, Bartender 4, CT_BarMod, Dominos, elvUI, Macaroon, Nurfed AB, IPopBar, nUI, ReAction Bars and RDX.
- Places text with the metric of your choosing on the actionbar buttons.
- Damage and healing statistics are placed into your tooltips. This includes for example critical hit chance, spell damage and damage coefficients, averages, DPS, DPSC (damage per seconds cast), damage until OOM and more!
- Your own buffs and your target's debuffs are taken into account.
- Allows manual modification of the essential talents, buffs and character stats used to calculate. For example you can test how much increasing your spellpower by 100 would increase your damage or healing output.
- If you're overwhelmed by the amount of statistics presented, you can use the options reduce the amount to whatever you feel is important!

Acronym/abbreviation list:
- AP = Attack Power
- RAP = Ranged Attack Power
- SP = Spell Power
- Ht = Hit rating
- Cr = Critical strike rating
- Exp = Expertise rating
- Ha = Haste rating
- Ma = Mastery rating
- HPS/DPS = Healing/Damage Per Second
- HPSC/DPSC = Healing/Damage Per Seconds Casted
- HPSCD/DPSCD = Healing/Damage Per Seconds CoolDown
- HOOM/DOOM = Healing/Damage (until) Out of Mana
- HPM/DPM = Healing/Damage Per Mana
- DPE = Damage Per Energy
- DPF = Damage Per Focus
- DPR = Damage Per Rage
- DPRP = Damage Per Runic Power
- MPS = Mana Per Second (How much mana the spell uses per seconds casted)

I'll add Chastise once I get the accurate coefficients for it.
Holy Fire uses rotational DPS value in the display, not spam DPS. DrDamage used to calculate spam DPS but it wasn't really informational on spells like immolate so it was changed to this. Neither solution seems to be without downsides. I'll think about what should be done.
Ahh okay :) A thought, have a option for choosing which spells show spam dps and which shows rotanional dps, shouldn't be too hard I think to add :)
Just a quick question -- does Dr.Damage take into count the "ghost hit" bonus that frost bolts get?
Not currently. I've been thinking about it but it'd probably confuse some people, which means I'll get more "error" reports. Although I guess it should be taken into account, pff. I wonder if Blizzard will change it at some point?

This addon is awesome and I use it on all my boxes. I've found it even more useful having read how to get your addon to work with macros. One problem that I have discovered is that, for some reason, it won't calculate damage for Riposte.

I think I found the issue. It's due to Riposte not returning any rank. I've fixed this in the latest wowace release.
I love this mod, I use the numbers on the spell icons all the time now for healing. 1 issue however, I have a macro with modifier keys (ctrl, alt, and shift) that change the spell rank accordingly. The numbers on the macro icon dont change according to which key i'm pressing (since the spell ranks are however). Wondering if this is possible to fix. Anyways, great job!
Check the options. You can enable updates to happen on modifier key clicks. Disabled by default to prevent useless updates.
Does this addon consider the spell haste value on items when calculating damage? And is it possible to manually set a spell haste value to do some calculations?
Spell haste doesn't affect damage, only DPS. Spell haste is taken into account into the DPS calculations.
Currently setting spell haste manually is not possible. I'll try to add that later.

I have a small issue with the calculations for my frostbolt as a mage. The addon says my highest hit should be 1243 when in reality the biggest hit ive got sofar is 1302. The lowest dmg should be, according to the addon, 1189 when in reality the lowest hit ive seen sofar is 1252. I have most talents in frost tree along with 575 spell dmg. Im not very good at math but it seems the values are off by 5% is there any way to fix this? Ill download the latest version, think i have the version before this.
Download the latest version from wowace. I've remedied an issue in frostbolt calculations.
I think I figured it out. So manual level is the default and if you select use hit calculation by target level, then it is the target level I guess.
Aye, this is correct. Default is 3 levels higher for the most useful raid setting information.
Is the +hit calculation default to mobs your level?
