This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

DrDamage is currently being developed for 5.x. Only monks (of any spec) are not supported. All classes which existed prior to Mists are supported.

DrDamage displays the calculated damage or healing of abilities with talents, gear and buffs included on your actionbar buttons. The addon also adds various statistics to the tooltips in your spellbook and on the actionbar.

Functionality:

Supports all classes
Actionbar addons supported: Default, Bartender 4, CT_BarMod, Dominos, elvUI, Macaroon, Nurfed AB, IPopBar, nUI, ReAction Bars and RDX.
Places text with the metric of your choosing on the actionbar buttons.
Damage and healing statistics are placed into your tooltips. This includes for example critical hit chance, spell damage and damage coefficients, averages, DPS, DPSC (damage per seconds cast), damage until OOM and more!
Your own buffs and your target's debuffs are taken into account.
Allows manual modification of the essential talents, buffs and character stats used to calculate. For example you can test how much increasing your spellpower by 100 would increase your damage or healing output.
If you're overwhelmed by the amount of statistics presented, you can use the options reduce the amount to whatever you feel is important!

Acronym/abbreviation list:

AP = Attack Power
RAP = Ranged Attack Power
SP = Spell Power
Ht = Hit rating
Cr = Critical strike rating
Exp = Expertise rating
Ha = Haste rating
Ma = Mastery rating
HPS/DPS = Healing/Damage Per Second
HPSC/DPSC = Healing/Damage Per Seconds Casted
HPSCD/DPSCD = Healing/Damage Per Seconds CoolDown
HOOM/DOOM = Healing/Damage (until) Out of Mana
HPM/DPM = Healing/Damage Per Mana
DPE = Damage Per Energy
DPF = Damage Per Focus
DPR = Damage Per Rage
DPRP = Damage Per Runic Power
MPS = Mana Per Second (How much mana the spell uses per seconds casted)

I just deleted my DrDamage folder and reinstalled the latest build from wowace. Upon reviewing the errormessage is see ? references to [C:] does it matter that my WOW dir resides on my D drive?

Are any other locs getting errors with DrDamage? Mine won't display any data after I cast fel armor. Also, what other add-ons like drdamage_talented are required? Could another add-on be using outdated info causing this issue? Sorry for not posting the error message but I didn't have access to right now.

Also, I'd like to say what a great job your doing and what an indispensible add-on this is. Especially since the update I never felt as lost as in where to upgrade without this helpful tool.

And to all the other folks who chimed in on this thread, remember that the people writing this app are doing so, in place of playing and without payment. If we could all PayPal them 2 dollars or something I'm sure that it would quickly be worth their while to crank out a lot more code. I'll be doing that this week and urge you all to do the same.

So I cleaned my install of wow and started over. I again get the DrDamage data in my spell tooltips until I cast fel Armor. Here is my current error message;

Well, DrDamage adds the info into the default tooltip. As far as I understand it's more of a question of TipTac clearing the DrDamage info. Due to this support should be on TipTac's side. You could try asking the author about that.

Hi! I know the addon is far from finished, but here are some things that are missing as a disc priest:
- You missed Focused Power (increases spell/heal by 2%/4%)
- Renewed Hope gives 2%/4% crit on targets with Weakened Soul
- Penance can actually crit ^^, and the healing part isn't marked as "Healing" in Priest.lua.
- The coefficient for Penance(heal) is around 1.83 * sp (or .971 * heal)
- The coefficient for Holy Nova is actually 0.163 * sp (or .306 * heal)

And my Penance coefficient is also wrong! It seems that:
- Twin Disciplines affects also Penance and Mind Flay, even though they're not instants.
- The coefficient of Penance is that of a 3s cast (0.857).

Holy Priest, ~1220 spellpower, using r718:

"Avg" numbers for healing spells are way too high. For example Greater Heal Rank 7 is showing about 6700 healing with "Avg". I'm healing for about 6k on average. Numbers are broken for all healing spells. They're all too high. All for about 500-700 healing.

That's all we care about right now, is unbreaking the mod with 3.0. We'll be spending a lot of time on accuracy once the first beta is out.

I don't have a 70 mage yet to test those ranks, but they're in the code the same as any other rank. I see no reason why they wouldn't show up. Are you sure you're using the builds from wowace svn and NOT the builds from this curse site?

With r715: Lava lash is reporting a MUCH higher number than it's actually doing, to the tune of 600 reported with an actual average of 188

No, I actually haven't done anything to try to enable DrDamage as of yet. I was just trying to get in a quick play session and thought I would post the bug report for info purposes. I can barely stay connected to my world server.
