EnhancedLFG
1) Replaces the zone column with "spec"
2) Colors classes by thier class color
3) Colors level by its level difference to you
4) Adds spec to the dropdown on the who frame
5) Colors the text on the who frame like LFG (The code is almost identical)
6) You cannot sort based on the spec column. It will sort by zone or name instead.
Will display spec for other players running RockComm-1.0, so not everyone will have thier spec listed. RockComm is part of may popular addons such as Cartographer, FuBar, Pitbull, and CowTip, so there will be an existing userbase which this will work with.
update pleaseeeeee
## Interface: 30000
and
libRockComm-1.0 line from:
if level < 1 or level > 70 then
to
if level < 1 or level > 80 then
on line: 1813 in LibRockComm-1.0.lua
I think it'll then work. Still need to test it out when server comes back up.
--if good then
for func in pairs(talentReceptors) do
local success, err = pcall(func, sender, t)
if not success then
geterrorhandler()(err)
end
end
--end
Would be nice to have a proper update for 3.0.* anyways.
I really like this addon. I found it very useful in 2.4.
Great useful mod.
Only one issue I have and I don't know if there is already something I'm missing or a possible fix. But it replaces the "Location" column in the guild window with Spec (which is useful), but I'd still like to be able to see the "Location" column...
Any ideas?
Thanks
I'd probably use this addon if that issue was addressed.
Hi Pad8,
What i use is: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info4252-GuildNotesTooltip.html
It puts a mouse over tooltip for your guild list that shows information like location etc.
That may help you out?
I guess the only other thing that could be done now is the mouse over tooltips of the player, adding to the bottom of that: Spec: X (if they return a spec, and if nothing, add nothing).
That's about the only other addition I can think of for this mod.
Great job mate! :)
Check out cowtip.
Ah, yes, just loaded it.
Hmm well It's nice but not for me. I don't want a tooltip replacement, just something that scans the existing tooltip and then adds their own bit of information as I use some tooltip enhancers already. :)
Anyhoo, thanks for that. I'm sure many would love cowtip. :)
"The next version of WoW will allow you to see someone's spec by inspecting them."
Is this active yet?
On the PTR. It is in client release 2.3
Yeah I looked at doing that too.
Your latest version seems to have fixed the conflict error message and show the spec.
With AuldLangSyne and eLFG running, the new 'Spec' column has the zone name and spec name alternating as each mod does their refreshing.
So I went in as you said, but I didn't remove the entire guild module of ALS, I just commented out the 'zone' parts of that mod, and now both mods are working great together.
:)
I do thank you for your time and coding Sylvanaar. Seriously, I know I must appear to be annoying at times. :P
Do you yourself have a paypal account for donations?
Thanks Maz, but I dont take donations. I just like to know that people find the things I create useful.
Ah ok. I just like giving a little to authors of things i find useful and I used in my day to day gaming. :)
