Simple right click casting.

Double right-click to cast while a fishing pole is equipped. Options included to enhance the various telltale signs that you've caught a fish (upping the volume, enhance the pool "sparklies") and automatically applying a lure to your pole.

Double click casting can result in lost catches in rare situations where the loot window and casting overlap. I haven't figured out if this is due to a slow computer or a slow connection, nor have I found a way around it yet.

0.5.5g doesn't respond to double clicking anymore. Back to 0.5.5f.

My double click action for casting has changed to one click. There for when I go to loot my catch it cast instead. I also can't walk or fly because by clicking the right mouse button down once makes me want to cast. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem. And it's also applying after I take all my fishing stuff off too, until I disable FA and reload my UI.

Is anyone able to get the /fa lure option to work. I have it turned on/checked, but double clicking does not activate a lure. It just sends out a cast. This is happening on multiple characters, all of which with lures in their bags.

I'm having this same problem. I have the fishing hat and FA used to use it to put a lure on my pole but not anymore!

@mothandras -- those should both be fixed in the latest version (issues with checking for fishing pole types during startup, something changed in the way Blizz does things somewhere). Please let me know if there are still issues, thanks!

I just updated automatically today to the newest version, now I can only do one "double click" cast, before it doesn't allow me to 'double click' cast anymore. I have to open up my professions menu and press fishing manually.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue since updating?

Make sure that you're using the latest version of "Broker_Garbage". It was masking the LOOT_CLOSED behavior, which caused FB to think you hadn't looted your fish yet.

There may be other add-ons that do the same thing, I will see if I can find a general work-around.

Two things that need to be fixed currently:

1. AutoLoot is kept on after fishing pole is de-equipped. 2. Music/Ambient Sound is not returned to normal levels after fishing pole is de-equipped.

I took just the double click casting and the "sound enhancements" out of Fishing Buddy -- there were people who just wanted those features without all of the extras. Several months ago I rewrote both FA and FB so that the bulk of the "magic" is in a library, so that the experience is as consistent as possible. At some point, FA will be "just" UI around my fishing library (which was the long term goal).

Wonder why this addon uses that much cpu, the mem part is just a few kb, but it's on top of my addons. Don't know how a click-to-fish addon could be such a framekiller.
