FlagRSP2
FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.
FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.
If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.
If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

I seem to be getting the same error, the description box will only appear for a split second sometimes if I mouse over a person, but most of the time it won't even register. Yes, I did join the correct channel. The tooltip shows what information it can, but because I use tipbuddy and not AF tooltip it's not 100% complete. Any chance this description problem is a bug that could be fixed? Also, I'd love to see more functionality with TipBuddy in the future. (At first I thought it might be xperl unit frames causing the error, but I see other people have a similar problem)
I can't see the description box now either, and prefixes and suffixes no longer work. Titles and RP flags work fine but that's about it. It's very annoying.
I'm getting a weird glitch where, while I can see the specialized tooltips (With names and titles), but the description pop-up is actually invisible. The only way I can manage to bring it back is by reinstalling FlagRSP, but it still disappears again in a few minutes. Creates quite a few problems, as I can still click and drag the invisible screen, but have no real idea where it is, so I will often end up covering my action bars and the like. If anyone has any idea why his is happening, please help!
Just a quick question, but is it normal for flagRSP2 to be using the most memory of all my addons? I'm wondering why this is leaving a bigger footprint that say AtlasLoot or XPearl
When i installed FlagRSP2 it was unable to show the descriptions. The tooltips were modified with RP status and so on, but i never got the description box to show.
Be sure to /join xtensionxtooltip2
Seems to work just fine - all functions work like they should, apart from the character description. It just doesn't show up. Tried with all my addons, and without, but it just won't show. Deleted the settings in the WTF folder to make sure I hadn't disabled showing the description for my own character (is there a way to reset this ingame?) but that didn't make any difference either.
edit #1: Manually joining the channel fixed this issue, simply type "/join xTensionXTooltip2" and you should be good to go. Might require a relog.
There appears to be an occasional problem with being able to mouse over your own character and the ability to see your own description. I have a full RSP description on my main character. I can see all of the info I have set for her, along with anyone elses, but for some reason, my alts - mostly my rogue - will show other people's descriptions but not my own.
I know the RSP works (and rocks the house) but did I miss a tool tip somewhere?
If you downloaded earlier today and are getting Ace2 errors, download it again.
Jibb; The description is not updated until either the options window is closed. This is to prevent the WoW client from flooding the description to the data channel with every letter that is changed.
Justyce; Copy and paste the text from WoW. Also, in the WTF folder.
I love this add on. I've put a lot of work into my descriptions, and since the big changeover, I haven't seen anything to tell us where the descritions are stored now. I'd like to back them up or just copy them to a text editor for just in case. Where are they?
Hi, I have a problem with FlagRSP2: When I make changes in the character description, the changes aren't reflected in the pop-up description. In fact, it's only through a random tweaking of options that the pop-up window actually reflects the changes I made. Is there a more straight-forward solution to having the pop-up window reflect changes made in the description window? Thanks.

Make sure you copied ALL of the files, including the image directory.
Raesh;
If you check the xtensionxtooltip2 channel to view, do you see the data coming across?
Having an issue where I can see the modified tooltips fine and I can see my own description popup, but I can't see anyone else's. I get the same result with no other addons running and after trying all manner of things in the Options and Tooltip menus. I left and rejoined the proper data channel and still no go.
This problem persists wether others are using the latest FlagRSP2 or MRP. I had a friend grab FlagRSP2 and he had the same issue under the same conditions. Is there something silly we're missing here? :3
Hi Something is wrong with my addon, i probably did something wrong, but how do you fix this? The addon was installed and the lime RSP screen comes up when i do /rsp, but next to the check boxes there is no text! Everything is just lime and text box. I can create titles and all, but I can't see it, even if others can. I can't see others' either, and the little mini map scroll button hasn't showed up. Please help!
Nevermind my last post. I just had "Default/Light Mode Tooltip" ticked. It works again after unticking it.
FlagRPS doesn't seem to work with newly created characters. I get to set the names and options, but only the default WoW pop-up appears when I'm targeting my character. It still works just fine with my old characters.
I even updated to the newest version, but no luck. Is there a solution to this?
I'm not sure if it was really answered but; if you get the nil:939: message- I disable my TinyTip addon and it works fine
RobotChicken;
Thrae contacted me and I might working with him to see about resolving the issues.
This one seems to suggest that TinyTip has something to do with it which would make sense (sorry these are all in seperate comments but they look messed up if I try and put them in one comment.) All of these errors pop up when I mouseover somebody.
