FlagRSP2
FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.
FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.
If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.
If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

I don't really mind the errors since they just default to bugsack, and they are very obviously caused by the addons. However I don't think I want to disable them both.
Here's another one:

Quanta, EyrieH;
The "cidd" variable refers to the last number channel number for the channel. It is correct, but I do not use it any where else.
How many channels are you on? If any other AddOns mess with the "CHAT_MSG_CHANNEL" event, it could possibly prevent FlagRSP2 from joining the channel.
RobotChicken;
Disable ArcHUD2 and FriendsFacts, then see if the errors go away.
The other one:

A few errors for ya:

I'm having the same issue as Quanta; I have to manually join the channel whenever I roll a new toon. :3
"Why should people install shareware / freeware / purchase software when the above is so easy ?"
Because file formats change over time, and Microsoft doesn't make it a point to keep such things as up-to-date as possible unless it's a file format that they maintain dominion over (such as .doc), even though they should since they decided to integrate the functionality into their operating system. As a result, any improvements to the .zip format (such as an improved compression ratio) that are taken into account by the authors of archiving programs are always irrecoverably lost on users of WinXP's built-in archiver because it doesn't support the improvements.
Anyways, there seems to be an issue with the mod where it won't join "xtensionxtooltip2" when it loads. I found this line:
cidd = GetChannelName("xtensionxtooltip2");
Is that extra d supposed to be there? :P

I do not expect you to understand or read the entire post. :P
"The Windows XP ZIP extractor is absolutely horrible. " ?
Really ? In Windows XP (and Vista) right-click on a folder and choose "Extract All" and then choose a destination ?
Or just double click on that ZIP file and drag the contents out ?
Why should people install shareware / freeware / purchase software when the above is so easy ?
DocLithius;
OS X has a wonderful compression program built in, however...
The Windows XP ZIP extractor is absolutely horrible. To make ZIP files compatible with it you have to use programs that will downgrade the ZIP format version to work with it.
Lots of people do use WinRAR or such to extract, but after hundreds of emails from people complaining they can not install FlagRSP2 properly, I broke down and bought an archive to make the issue go away forever.
Um... You could've just as easily downloaded "WinRAR" for free, Azxiana, and compressed it as a ZIP there. All WinRAR would've ever given you was a little "Please register!" message if you tried to decompress something after 30 days with it. And I think 7zip is outright free, too...
I just uploaded 1.3.0 DEV3.
I also just spent $20 so I could reliably compress it for silly Windows XP users that refuse to use anything except the Windows ZIP extractor.
I would like to see a character history section as well. It allows more information to be placed about the character, whether it's something someone couldn't possibly know but make a good read to a player or something that's happened to the character that's giving some sort of status effect currently.
I find saying "History comes out in roleplay", Azxiana, as a cheap way of dodging more work then you already have. By all means, if you don't have the time or the patience to build that into the system then that's all good and dandy but you just basicly dropped support on MRP because of it. Granted, now it's going into an inactive stage but your two main concerns in my opinion should be compatibility and user enjoyment level.
Please do not take this as an attack, rather take it as an attempt to have a constructive conversation.
P.S. Best thing ever invented in an RP Addon? A notes sheet for each character including yourself!
Thanks for the update!
Yeah... This update really bit me.
New version(DEV2) uploaded to refix the bugged health bars.
For the 21 people that downloaded before 7:21 PM -5 GMT, please redownload.
Updated to the latest 1.3.0 developer version with bug fixes.
I am away of the current bugs that patch 2.1.0 is causing and I am working to resolve them.
Well, ya got me there... Sorry.
DocLithius;
It has been stated and restarted many times before.
History comes out through role playing. You learn about the character by interacting with them.
I have a question... How come you don't have a "Character History" section like MyRolePlay? I realize the original FlagRSP didn't have this, either, but I think it, as well as the other various items you can enter, are neat features. It's just a shame that MyRolePlay probably won't be updating again from the original author as he's quitting WoW.
...okay, that turned into a bit more of an advertisement than I would have liked. Sorry.
