FuBar_HonorFuPlus

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

This is a mod of the original HonorFu by ckknight. It will update honor points dynamically as they are gained or spent. The options allow for Arena points to be displayed in this manner as well. The tooltip has been updated to show Battleground Marks of Honor and arena points. Bugfixes will accurately show BG wins and losses as well as kills and deaths per session.

This addon didn't look like it was being updated, so I made some modifications to it myself. Minor things like adding Isle, fixing Strand and the holiday calculations, which you've included in this update.

But one thing I did that I thought was really useful was changing from using GloryLib to count win/losses, to using the statistics/achievement API to do it.

Here's the gist of the changes:

Really, I looked at nearly all the honor and currency addons. This one is one of the best - but I need to see also my honor, triumph, heroism and frost emblems at one glance and stone "splinter?" what-ever-they-are-called-on-english ("steinsplitter" in german). But, why? Because with that currencies I can buy PvP gear! I'm playing several class chars (no "main"), so I'm always upgrading or farming for more gear :) Possible to include that values? Maybe even as an option "show pvp farming currency" or something like that ... so that it stay pure success stats for the pros ;)

FuBar_HonorFuPlus_r48 - there are only old files (last modified july 2008). even strand of the ancients is missing in this release?

i have not updated the readme file and the date does not get updated when i commit a new version, this is a problem with curse.

strand of the ancients should be included in the latest version, the only problem i have is that the win/loss count for Isle of Conquest is not working due to a GloryLib problem.
do you get any errors? what client language are you using?

i don't get that sorry :(
if i download the FuBar_HonorFuPlus_r48 manually, i get a file called FuBar_HonorFuPlus-r79100.24.zip.
inside of the zip are only old lua files. even the GetDifficultyColor isn't fixed in this release.
maybe curse is broken? any idea?

You should normally request that ownership be transferred to you. That's what is up for grabs if the author goes missing in action, depending on the license for the addon. And that's the problem. This author has licensed the addon as "All Rights Reserved". Meaning greed-mode, aka nobody can make derivatives of this addon, etc etc. Hah...

Pls add a function, that Marks of Strand of the Ancients could be shown.

And 4 marks that are needed for qest "For Great Honor" should be shown as a group. And Alterac marks should be shown as other grp. Also Wintergrasp marks should be shown.

Chances are pretty slim I will revisit this Addon as I coded Broker_Wallet instead to track currency. There are a few addons out there though that have the same features.
