GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

This addon use to show me where the ore where so when you where flying around you would see them on the minimap. but so far in the war within they ores dont show up until i haven found them myself and mined the ore.
In reply to Panda026: Do you have GatherMate2_Data? It has most possible spots for reagents.
There seems also a problem with some archaeology nodes. There is "Demonic Archaeology Find" in two variants: glowing and not glowing. In german they are two different names: "Archäologisches Fundstück der Dämonen" for not glowing version and "Archäologischer Fund der Dämonen" for glowing. Any possibility to seperate those two because the addon is not creating pins for the missing one? Or something like 'or/else functions'?
I did everything in the video, but it doesn't show anything. I also wanted to set up Routes, but /routes doesn't work at all.
Nodes are not created or moved if names are wrong in locales .lua-files.
NL["Serevite Deposit"] = "Serevitvorkommen " should be
NL["Serevite Deposit"] = "Serevitvorkommen" ...one space too much.
Made a simple python script to scrape wowhead and pull herb data.

Have to manually add the data to the DB in your local files but you can figure that out.
I only cared about herbs but with a little work you could make it work for mining as well
Data is updated every time you run the script.
Hello, when I used the addon years back for looking for old world chests the importer didn't always have the 100% perfect area for the chests. When I found a new chest that wasnt pinned it would auto make a new pin for said chest. However just a few hours ago I found a chest not pinned and the addon did not add a pin for it. Is there any way I can manually do it myself?
Hello Author. The Whispers of the Deep fishing pool is not being tracked by the addon. Could It be added in future patch?
When fishing in a pool that isn't in the database yet, the pool does not get added to the database and does not show up on minimap or map. Not sure if I'm missing something in my settings. Herbs do get added to the database.
In reply to ishirra: as in the issue tracker

Fishing Node requires the mouse to be over the node, just hover the node when start fishing
how do you get this app to work with TWW any other expansion it is working, i tired deleting the app and reinstalling it still does not show any nodes
Since herb and mine nodes spawn with so many affixes the database is getting very large and laggy. Can it be made not to record affixes in the addon? For every crystalized/withered/ez-mine bismuth, just make it busmuth since they share the same spawns. Maybe convert every affix node detected to a regular node when writing to the lua file, so duplicates can be deleted and not bloat the database. I know its easier said than done.
Any shot of adding the Disturbed Earth for the gobs of wax?
I've put together an update for GatherMate2_Data that contains updates and data for The War Within if folks would like to use it until the author can provide updates.

In reply to Spiritwlf: Dear Spiritwlf (marthammor)!
It has been 3 weeks since you've released the initial Data for Gathermate2. However since then, I think more nodes were discovered and uploaded to Wowhead.
I was wondering if you could create yet another Data package for the addon itself? I would truly appreciate that!
Thank you in advance.
In reply to kalitka9: I was actually thinking of putting together an update with any new data. I know I've added a bunch of fishing nodes and have come across some mining/herb nodes that weren't recorded yet so I'm fairly sure WoWHead has some newer data. I've been fairly busy with work, but I'll see if I can carve out some time to put an update together soon.
In reply to Spiritwlf: Thank you in advance!
In reply to kalitka9: I updated the info on the 16th of October, in case you missed it.
In reply to Spiritwlf: sorry to say but for the characters in which GatherMate2 does not work - this did not resolve my issue. But GatherMate2 does work with my other character
In reply to wolfrider309: It doesn't work at all, or doesn't work in some areas? I've completed all of the campaign quests and haven't noticed any issues.
