When attempting to perform database cleanup, it would always fail with errors similar to this one (link to paste).

After troubleshooting by deleting all GatherMate2 saved variables and disabling all other addons, reducing WoW graphics quality, and closing all other programs open on my PC (to reduce CPU/memory usage), I was still receiving the same error.

After a bit of googling, I came across a thread on Tukui with the same "script ran too long" error (link to thread). I don't use Tukui,/ElvUI but the information in the thread helped point me to the problem.

It turns out, my client had the CPU profiling CVar, scriptProfile, turned on. I don't know how it got turned on or how long it been toggled on, but setting that CVar to 0 solved my "script ran too long" issues. I have had no issues with cleanup since.

Perhaps a CVar scriptProfile check could be added to the cleanup function(s) to either turn profiling off during cleanup or warn the user that CPU profiling is turned on if cleanup fails?
