State in Shadowlands
GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for Shadowlands, and early data for both Herbs and Mining locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!
I downloaded both gathermate 2 and the GatherMate2_Data however when i open the addon the option to import the data is there something im doing wrong I used curse client to install both the addon and data
Bump for an update to 5.2, love the addon. Thanks!
Hope it gets updated to WoW 5.2 soon.
What is this addon during in the game?
I have an issue regarding treasure
1) My friend and I are playing together. Both of us have this addon. His addons shows threasure chamel in Uldum, mine won't.
2) I've disabled all other addons to see if it would show
3) I've imported
4) We've copied HIS version onto my computer
5) We've uninstalled and reinstalled.
I cannot think of more. Does anyone have an idea as to what can have happened? Our settings are the same (as I got it from him - and we've gone through the settings). Treasure is on, all is imported, and yet it doesn't show.
Hope anyone have ideas.
With this data, my MOP archeology nodes are totaly outside dig sit
Gathermate record the new nodes i dig (at correct location) but the database dont work :s nodes of archeologydate.lua appear on map but outside dig sit... I dont want to farm a new time to have an updated data base :s
Did u have the same prob? Where can i find a not bugged archeologydata.lua with all mop dig site ?
Thank !
Probably been asked before but I can't find an answer. Each time I choose a module to load (in this case Cataclysm) am I importing ONLY the data for that expansion? Or am I importing all data UP to that expansion (ie Cata, Wrath, BC and Vanilla)? I guess my main question is, if I load data from MoP, will it update all data previous to that expansion? Or do I need to load each expansion data set one at a time to get up to date?
I recently lost all data after a reinstall of the game and am trying to get my nodes back! I don't see any for archaeology anywhere, and most fish data seems to be just what I have personally identified recently. I checked and have all fishing nodes selected to show, so I'm trying to figure out what's going wrong with my merge data for the new releases of Gathermate2_Data.
Thanks for any help or insight you can offer. Also, clarifying what data is imported when selecting a given expansion in your mod description might help foks like me who aren't quite sure what gets imported when to decide how best to use the mod. Thanks again!
If you choose a module to load (in your example Cataclysm) and have the "Expansion Data Only" option selected you will only import the data for that expansion. If you do not have the "Expansion Data Only" option selected then the import will include ALL data depending on which options you have selected under the "Databases to Import" section.
If you wish to import all available data, select all 6 options under "Databases to Import" and DO NOT select the "Expansion Data Only" option, then click on the "Import GatherMate2..." button.
If you select the "Auto Import" option then GatherMate2 should automatically import all data based on your selections whenever you install a new set of data. I say "should" because, in my experience, this does not always work!
Weird... why is it in every 5 nodes only 1 node has the ore/herbs. Are all those other nodes bugs or something?
It shows potential nodes, not active nodes.
You mean those other 4 nodes are potential node spots for 1 node?
The locations it displays are just known spawn points for resource nodes. It is possible for it to spawn there, but it also possible for it not to be spawned right at that current moment.
Close, but not realy. Following numbers will be random to show the point.
An area has 100 nodes, but at no time are all 100 of them present in the world. Blizzard limits it to something smaller, let's say 25 so all the other 75 will be visible by your addon, as it knows about them. Harvisting each node will make another appear and it can be any of the 75 that were not active before and of any kind in the same type.
It has been my experience that if I target one specific resource and do three-four circles around the map, the other types of resource get "richer" (as in there are more nodes of the other types than the one I'm harvisting). It's just a respawn and randomizing across the map process.
Suddenly, all of my Sturdy Treasure Chest nodes in some zones (namely Southern Barrens) have vanished from the map. I found one and it added it to the map properly, but why would I have lost the ones I've already found and/or loaded from previous gathermate2 data?
Me too, I just recently started to farm chests on northrend, and I noticed a lot of them disappeared :(
EDIT: I recovered the "old" treasure chests by downloading an older version.
Is there anything we have to do each week when the data is updated?
Do we have to re-import in-game, or is it seamless and automatic? I don't want to goof with it if I don't have to, or risk messing anything up.
Sorry if this was already addressed, but I couldn't find any reference.
Love the addon(s) - keep up the good work!
Sorry, found the auto import message in the chat box
I don't understand these updates. Nothing changes between versions except "## X-Curse-Packaged-Version". The data files (ArchaeologyData.lua, FishData.lua) etc. are identical. See for yourself, compare the files in version 13.7 with version 13.6 and you will see they are identical. Same for 13.5, 13.4 and so on.
Am I missing something?
Updates are automated to run every week. However last few versions there has been an issue apparently with the file commit. I'll be checking the logs today to see what the issue is
Thanks for looking into it!
