State in Shadowlands
GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for Shadowlands, and early data for both Herbs and Mining locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!
Golden Lotus is a rare herb and works the same way as Trillium (rare ore) does. They can spawn in place of the standard herb/ore, so about 99% of the time you'll just find the standard herb/ore in the spawn loacation and the remaining 1% you'll find a Golden Lotus/Trillium Vein instead. GatherMate's data is based on what ever was last "looted" from any particular spawn point, so it would seem that lots of people found Golden Lotus instead of Green Tea recently.
I'm using the merge mode, I imported the date of the latest version and all of the sudden most of my mining nodes are just gone. Tried re-importing, it didn't work.
Alright, this crap is driving me fricking batty.
The most UTD version of this is currently not loading all the nodes for Ghost Iron Ore, Kyprite, and Trillium.
Well be on the hunt for 18.0 version.
You can access previous versions from the "Other Downloads" link/button above, right under the "About GatherMate2_Data" heading.
For everyone else who is looking to install v18.0 to get all mining nodes etc, remember that this is just a data import, once you've imported the data from v18.0 you can then update to v18.1 to import the data from that and then contimue with v18.2 etc.
Also worth mentioning for new users is that the "Auto-import" function does not always work so it's always worth checking to see if you can do a manual import after installing a new GatherMate2 Data version.
I had same problem with mining nodes as other people are reporting below. Solved it by downloading version 18.0 (enabled outdated add-ons to import it)
Files for mining and herbalism are much smaller in latest version than in 18.0. Looks like latest version is incomplete.
where do i download the 18.0 version. ty for helping
it's on the project site, here's the link

You can also access previous versions from the "Other Downloads" link/button above, right under the "About GatherMate2_Data" heading.
Thanks for the link mate, overwriting the new version with this has fixed the prob. <3
I can't get the mining nodes to show up...
EDIT: i can't get anything to show up AT ALL. It trakcs the nodes i find but it WILL NOT track the ones i haven't...
Have you imported the data? Checked which data you're importing?
So all nodes show up, but mining. I have reset it, re-downloaded it, re-imported it (not necessarly in that order) and nothing fixes this. Did I miss something here?
I only get Treasure nodes... I imported everything, used the "overwrite" mode (fresh install anyways), but when the minimap only shows treasures, and when I try to create a route via routes, I also have only the option to select the treasures...
I get no lua error or anything like this whatsoever....
Edit: this only happens with 18.3. I downgraded to 18.2, now it works again.
This update will not allow me to run GatherMate2_Data as it says out of Date and trying to force load it causes an error.
"Couldn't load 10: Out of date"
The Interface number in the .toc file wasn't updated, it's a fairly common oversight and the easiest workaround is simply to enable the "Load out-of-date addons" option at the top of the main addon selection screen (at the character screen click on the "AddOns" button in the lower left corner).
Gathermate2_Data is out of date and i cant import it. I mean its telling me that..
Is there a way to import the spawn/camp locations of rares throughout Pandaria/Timeless Isle/etc? having map markers for that would be excellent!
There are other addons that can show you rare mob locations, I'd recommend SilverDragon for rare mob tracking etc, plus HandyNotes which SilverDragon integrates with to display icons on the zone maps to show you where a rare has been seen.
I've had an interesting time trying to install GatherMate2 and it's data affiliate, but finally figured it out. However, when I click the add-ons at the character selection, the GatherMate2_Data shows that it's out of date. How do I update it, or is that something that is on App Programmer?
Thanks. :)
Even though I've found a couple of Mysterious Camel figurines in Uldam they are not showing on my map.
