- 4.) select the data you want and click import.
- 5.) Profit
State in Shadowlands
GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for Shadowlands, and early data for both Herbs and Mining locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!
I have tried to install and get this to appear with no success. I have the latest d/l and I go to import select mining and click the import button. I noticed the drop down menu says Cataclysm but I didn't change that. When I go and look at the maps I don't see anything. Would appreciate some help, Thanks.
I've imported all the classic node data from WoWHead to GatherMate2 for classic if anyone is interested. Details can be found here: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gathermate2?comment=1616

i understand correctly - this is fine that 80% nodes are empty = they are just possible spawn zones, right?

Thank You works great!

Any chance of getting this into a downloadable version for Classic, for those of us who have or are having a hard time with the manual install?

Will this add mineral nodes I've mined to the list? For some reason, nodes I know I've mined did not show up in the list I downloaded.
Thanks in advance.
In reply to Solyad:
Yes it auto-updates the table. I merged it with my existing data, but several of the nodes I previously hit didn't appear in the list. Would really like to know if there is an updated, current list of nodes from classic.
Appreciate the hard work and keep up the good work!

What was your process to get the data from wowhead?
In reply to DirtNastyyyy:
You failed to mention its for select zones, and missing a lot of the popular high level farming zones

Hello everyone, can someone please check if it is possible to import old GatherMate_Data https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate_data/files that was used by old GatherMate (during pre-Cata era) and import it for GatherMate2_Data for wow classic 1.13.2 ?
Many thanks

It was possible -- thanks for the idea. You can find my work here. https://github.com/Thurdi/GatherMate2_Data_Classic
Use at your own risk, but it should be the complete database from Pre-Cata. I've msg'd the author of Gathermate2 to see if he'd like to use the databases.
In reply to thurdi_:
Thank you for this! About to try to figure it out.
In reply to thurdi_:
I see you did the same thing I did, so it should work fine ^^
In reply to Forge_User_17417017:
How do you use this then? Not as an import since that doesn't work. :/
In reply to kiralynb:
You can take the data and just paste it into your Account\<account>\SavedVariables\GatherMate2.lua.
Copy the data from f.ex herbs:
paste it into your GatherMate2.lua like so:
Change before you log in your character or the file will already be loaded and a /reload will restore what it was before.
In reply to kiralynb:
If you download the whole folder from the github link, it will import. Just place it in the addons folder like any other addon and import as normal.
In reply to thurdi_:
thx for your great effort ;) works flawless
hmm
