State in Shadowlands
GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for Shadowlands, and early data for both Herbs and Mining locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!
Made a simple python script to scrape wowhead and pull herb data.

Have to manually add the data to the DB in your local files but you can figure that out.
I only cared about herbs but with a little work you could make it work for mining as well
data is updated every time you run the script
Please update the listed on the client with the post below. Thanks
I've put together an update for GatherMate2_Data that contains updates and data for The War Within if folks would like to use it until the author can provide updates.

In reply to Spiritwlf: Can you please upload the update to curseforge? Many of us don't know how to install the file ourselves. We could use the automated install available with this website.
In reply to DamonRa: Unfortunately that isn't something I can do as the addon isn't abandoned and I'm not a maintainer of it. The changes I posted are the same ones I submitted to the author/maintainer for them to use if they desire. To use my version, you just download the zip file and unzip it into your Interface/AddOns folder.
In reply to Spiritwlf: Thank you for sharing this
In reply to Spiritwlf: Thanks so much. Very helpful. I wish I new more about how this is done. Super laggy now that we have so many node variations all on top of each other. I wish there was a way to make all the nodes found convert to just record as regular nodes, then purge duplicates so one node wont be many different nodes on top of each other (crystal/web/ezmine/ect). They all share the same spawns, they can just spawn with affixes.
edit: i figured out how to do it manually. i just used notepad+ to replace all the affix node codes with their regular counterparts so everything reads as the regular nodes, then did the database cleanup inside gathermate2. I get all the data I want and the map doesnt lag the game out.
In reply to braetel:
Hello! I have the same problem with the nodes, can you share your folder? Thanks in advance!
edit: Reading gathermate constants and with notepad + i can do the same !! thanks for share your solution!

A weekly dump hasn't seemed to have happened in a while. Last time it was updated was months ago
Please update this for TWW :(
In reply to Liz1988: Not working for me either
In reply to Liz1988:
I pulled the TWW node data off wowhead myself and imported into the addon. Since then, due to the sheer number of nodes and node types on the map, my client is lagging like crazy (0.5-1 sec lag every ~5 seconds while flying)
So I wouldn't recommend it until performance issues can be fixed.
In reply to Lucitha:
If I may ask.... How is this done?
In reply to ki1rah: I've attached the data to my ticket here: https://legacy.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gathermate2/issues/336
In reply to Lucitha: man i just cannot get these to load for me i jsut want to test them even with the lag. im not sure why no herbs or nodes will load. i used your luas pasted em in and nothing still
Edit nvm i did get it! the data addon has been abandoned for years so im not sure if youll get a response
In reply to Lucitha:
Thanks
I tried it out and it's just too many nodes to make a useful route with Routes.
Hello, the import of tww is not working i dont see any herbs or ores.
