Database dump for GatherMate
Data is gathered from several sources, including user submitted data.
the data is im guessing either wrong or that every now and agian WOW changes the location of the nodes cause iv been search for 2 days now and either the nodes arnt there or there close by and iv found only a few close by and by a few i mean about 4 tin nodes the other ones i found were not even close and only found cause i had tracking minerals on is there a way to erase the ones that are not there 1by1 and not erase the whole database?
And you know nothing about computers. I suggest next time you go inside your school gates you ask your computer science teacher to explain how these addons work.
If you have left school perhaps you need to take further education classes in computer users for dummies. I believe you can get the book from good book shops.
Femina, my notice was referring to comments in which was a link to a file which contained the virus, this post was long ago removed by the administrator, and my statement remain and not applicable to this addon
yea, femina plus, who says that there isnt a keylogger in the file. you're downloading a file which can contain anything. so i think you know noting about computers lol or the internet.
i agre with u here. to all those saying that u carnt get hakd by this. YES YOU CAN. i work with computers for a living. there is a keyloger in this download. so am advising you all agsnt downloading it
I really like the feature that the possible node location changes from a solid to a circle when it's in range of my mineral tracking, but these circles interfere with me being able to mouse over a real tracked node to see what it is. (when there may be multiple nodes in one relatively small area, the tooltip information of the empty node competes with the actual node)
Is there a way to disable the circles from displaying a tooltip when moused over? Thanks.
Look, plain and simple... a addon is simply a script, lua and xml in this case and any supporting files are graphics, sounds etc.
Its impossible for a script in wow to run anything other than whats supported by the Blizzard API. Judging by the "dont download this" and "i was hacked by this addon" crap it shows you dont fully understand what your talking about and are clearly stupid or want to cause trouble for this author.
Curse scan any file uploaded to their server for malicious content, hence the "waiting for approval" status when you first upload. I know this because im the author of 3 popular addons. End of story.
If you have nothing constructive to say then dont say it.
I bet some of the people who have cried 'HAX!!' about this addon are, or would get along well with, the guy on Blackhand realm's Darnassus trade chat yesterday who claimed that some guy advocating editing a file in the Wtf directory (a file that is part of the standard WoW install, btw) to delimit FPS, was lying and giving a keylogger.
if you open the link above you can not be send to a page with a key logger that would mean that all the curse addon links sent you to a trojan horse witch is a load of you know what. second when you open the zip file that you download there is only lua code some database dumps. Harmless.
A key logger or a trojan horse can only be installed if you accept install a program or get it from a comprimised site, not if you unzip a file.
I have played WoW for 3 years and have always used a firewall/anti-virus/anti-spyware. The only thing I did differently 2 days ago was (using curse client V4)was install the update of this addon. I have now got a perma-ban and my account and guild bank have been rinsed for nearly 60k of gold and items. I want to warn others about this addon.
Yeah when u try and lie dont list every bad thing that can happen, + it doesent havea virus i have multiple virus prot software and just got it, you probs got banned for spamming and probs ninja'd ur own guilds bank....

I think you will find yourselves wrongly accusing this addon.

The zip file for v1.80 this morning has a CRC error. Tried redownloading, but it's still there. I'm gonna go with the packager screwing up.
