FAQ
How do I bring the user interface up ?
You can use the /gex slash command, or you can access the options from the addons tab in the interface panel.
Where did the trinket and the dispels modules go ?
They have been replaced by the cooldowns module, which now allows you to have several groups of cooldowns configured independently. By default, the trinket cooldown is shown in group 2 and a few other cooldowns in group 1.
What is that additional set of frames that I see ?
Those are the party frames. This is incremental functionality that will help you track not only your enemies but also your friends. If you use your own you can turn these easily off in the general settings. You can also disable only your own frame, but keep the GladiusEx party frames.
Is it possible to have text timers for the auras, cooldowns or the DR icons ?
The timer module has been removed, but this can be achieved with OmniCC or other similar addons.
Bugs and feature requests
Please use the ticket tracker to report any issues or request features.
Please report all the problems and bugs!
no more error message until now, thx for fast response!
The most recent beta makes the party and arena frames configured independently. Your previous module settings will be retained in the arena frames and you can use the buttons in the options to copy between party and arena if you want to keep your party settings the same than your arena settings. The general settings (everything not module specific, such as grow direction and bar width of the frames) will be reset to their defaults.
As usual, please report any problems you find while using it.
Can you add the ability to create announcement custom announcement. For example: Warrior - Recklessness (For a warning when auras and CDS are used)? This would be great :)

I want to add the ability to have announcements when cooldowns are used at some point, but I am afraid it may be overwhelming to configure such a thing with the huge number of cooldowns available.
Hey you can get the addon GladiatorLOSA it announces all cooldowns. I hope this helps.
I love this addon but am having a prob. The enemy trinket isn't displaying and im not sure whats going on. I see it working on screenshots but not sure what i did to get rid of it or how i get it back. Thanks for the help in advance.
The trinket is shown using the cooldowns module, by default in its own group (the group 2 in the options), together with the dispel cooldowns. Using the "reset module" button in the settings should put it back in the default configuration.
Awesome thanks man
seems like a lag are still here( uninstall gex (even not just off him) - and yeah! - smooth game are back. hope it will be fixed.
Very unlikely to be caused by this addon, and I can't do anything with so few details anyway.
Hi!
First of all, thank you for keeping this addon updated! It's lovely, has huge potential and is highly configurable.
I'd like to propose a suggestion for the addon that I think would further improve it.
Would it be possible to only show the cooldowns when they've been used? I believe that would be ideal so as to prevent clutter and keep the player's attention. It's hard to notice the difference when it's been used as a good player's attention is generally on the game and not tunneling the addons. I personally feel that to have to check whether a CD is used; i have to consciously look to the addon instead of having it in my *peripheral* vision.
This way we wouldn't have to disable so many of the cooldowns like fireblast and so on. Of course, it's great that you included all that to make it highly configurable - but I think it would be even better if there's an option where the cooldowns show only when used.
Thanks!
P.S I've tried to find that option, perhaps you've included it but I simply cannot find it. Forgive me if it's actually already implemented and I'm simply not observant enough! Do enlighten me on where I can find it. <3
Yeah it wouldn't be very hard to code and I agree it would be useful, I'll add it.
Thanks Slaren! <3
I'm not sure if I'm missing it or not, but is there any way to configure party and enemy frames separately?
Not yet, but it is a high priority in the list of things to do.
Good day!
Please, make announcement for you cast control on enemy. E.G. "Fear(or stun or blind etc). on <enemy> for <num> sec". It`s very useful thing.
Sounds cool, but that would require having to create (and keep updated) a categorized database of CC spells, which is problematic. Maybe in the future though.
The error in cooldowns.lua:536 should be fixed in v0.7-beta, thanks for the reports.
