I noticed that under the Illusions, Fiery and River's Song were not "selectable", however Illusion: River's Song still shows the proper glow effect even without the checkmark, and Illusion: Fiery doesn't show anything at all.
I don't know if you've done it on purpose, but it appears that all "categories" are exclusive of one another - for example, you can select MoP or Illusions, but not both (this was not the behaviour that the previous version used - you could select multiple categories at once, and it would just combine them into the output list).
*edit*** You also appear to have missed the "Butterflies" illusion.
I've used all raw Illusions I found on wowhead. Are Fiery and River's Song in the game? Butterflies does no longer exist and has been replaced with Spellpower according to wowhead.
I made them exclusive to prevent the list leaving the screen. The proper solution would be to have submenus under each categorie instead but that takes even more time and I can't test it.
Updated again, to add the 10th Anniversary "Flames of Ragnaros" illusion. (And I've updated it again later the same day, to add the rest of the new "Illusion" enchants that aren't already an existing enchant).
I'll post whenever I update the zip, but you can always go to the same download link to get whatever the latest version is.
** Info update: it turns out that it's pretty much impossible to take over an "abandoned" addon on curse without the original author's permission, and my emails to Boneschaman have as yet gone un-answered... so it looks like I'll just be updating this zipfile and these comments if I've updated anything.
Thank you very much for your update. If possible would you consider taking over the addon and maintain it? Would be nice to see a few slight improvements to the enchant list (list is too long with all expac's selected.. going out of the screen).
Nice to be able to use this addon again after a couple years.
The problem is that I don't actually know -how- to do more than just update it to add new enchants...
I'd like to break it down to enchant "buffs" (being able to select all +heal or +agility enchants at once) and "colors" (all the red or fiery or yellow ones) and "spec" (all caster, tank, or DPS enchants)... but I just don't know how to program in wow-lua.
How does it work? If I do /glowfosho, it just shows me the options. When I do /glowfosho <option> any option, it just shows me the options. There doesn't seem to be any way to enable or use it. Does this require a separate addon to work or did it break with the latest build?
What? You are the first to complain. You only need 3 or 4 libraries if you don't download the lib include package.
Then in game you just open the item preview window and there should be a small button in the top right corner as shown in the screenshots. There are almost no options, this addons is super simple.
test it please http://www.wowace.com/addons/glow-fo-sho/files/255-r96/
70 downloads and no comment? so it is usable?
Seems to work fine. Thanks.

River's Song might have a problem because duplicated spell ids

Hey ho. Still alive! Sometimes. Will check tomorrow.
Where did you send the emails to? Got no PMs here or at wowace.
I sent them through the curse "private messages" function here, which I assumed would email you with a "You've got a new message!" type missive :-)
Anyways - it's good to see you still exist, and I'm looking forward to curse getting an official updated download for the addon! :-)
I've updated GlowFoSho for WoD, but I don't want to take over the project...
Here's the update for whoever wants it.

Boneschaman, you may upload (or modify some more) to whatever addon sites you wish.

Screenshot pls.
Arn't there transmo enchants and the sorting by addon is useless now?
Any chance of an update for the new Warlords enchants?

I didn't update anything :) But I will chekc out whatever has been done. I'm not playing WoW anymore.
Well, whoever is now updating this incredibly handy add-on (great that someone is!) just fixed the ToC on the Alpha ;)
Curse mailed me because you commented here and I changed the ToC ;) Was a matter of seconds and I don't need the game to know or test it.
But somebody else added the new Alpha Enchantment.
