This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Colors glyph's borders by class color, helps you spot minor glyphs and marks glyphs not usable by your class (fully configurable).
Works with: Guild Bank, Blizzard Bank, Blizzard Bags, Combuctor, Baggins, Bagnon, EngInventory (Continued)
Excellent addon! The colored outline doesn't work though.
I'm using WoW 3.1 and tried both Blizzard Bags (default UI) and Bagnon.
I am able to see the small class icon, and the red overlay if a glyph is not usable by me. But the actual frame outline overlay is not being drawn. Maybe 3.1 changed how frames are drawn? I haven't tried this addon before 3.1 though so that is pure speculation.
Keep up the good work, and please look into this. :-)
Alright, I finally found out that colored outlines is a non-default settings. After enabling colored outlines it's all fine, showing up perfectly.
I have 3 criticisms:
- The red overlay for unusable glyphs is TOO dark, this may be because of the new glyph icons in 3.1 but it's way too dark/opaque, it would do well to be about 50% more transparent than now.
- The outline is very, VERY dim, it needs to be brighter.
- The "minor glyph" circle that shows in the bottom left is very weakly colored/dim, please consider making that dot more opaque.
L["GlyphRecolor will show class icons on glyphs and color their borders. Also unusable glyphs are colored in red."]
L["Show glyph borders in class colors."]
L["Show class icons"] = "Классовые иконки"
L["Show class icons on glyphs."]
L["Show unusable glyphs in red color."]
L["Size of class icon (top left corner)."]
end
---end---
Any chance you could make it so we can class-colorise the entire glyph (and not just the border)? I think this might be more helpful than just making unusable glyphs red. Thanks!
After downloading the latest version, the glyphs page in my spellbook won't load completely, and is non-interactable. Disabling GlyphRecolor restored it. Dunno if this mod is the sole cause of this taint, or not, but it might be worth investigating.
All I did was unzip and drop the file in the addons folder. Maybe I have another addon that's causing AceLocale to load before the one that's loaded in GlyphRecolor? I will try it tonight and see if it still give me this error.
tenchu ... where does that space come from in your 'DEATH KNIGHT' string ... is there really an index 'DEATH KNIGHT' with space inbetween in Blizz's RAID_CLASS_COLORS table on your client ?

I also agree with previous comments that Arkinventory support would be a great addition. 8^)
I was wondering if there was any chance you could apply the same idea you have here but to quest items.
Any and all quest items having a border applied to them with a small "Q" up in the top left corner where you have the class icons in this mod.
Cheers.
I was looking at the codes in Libbabble-Class-3.0
DEATHKNIGHT = "Death Knight"
Does that have to do with the error I am getting? Odd only happen with GlyphRecoloring
After downloading the latest version, the glyphs page in my spellbook won't load completely, and is non-interactable. Disabling GlyphRecolor restored it. Dunno if this mod is the sole cause of this taint, or not, but it might be worth investigating.

whatever ... adding a small fix for that ...
Request: Arkinventoy support
me too I messed them about it too :)
