GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
I'm using GW r101 and still get the bug where - in some chars - GW doesn't react to mouseclicks on the crafting recipes. GW selects the first crafting recipe in the list of recipes and that's all. No reaction to clicking on other recipes. UI reload, relogging or even restarting the client didn't chance a thing.
I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled r101... Will see tomorrow if it changes something. SavedVariables have been cleared, too. Maybe it has to do something with the Update routine of the Curse Client. I'll see tomorrow. Login-Servers seem to be down at this moment.
Hey when running glyph making the vendor conversion is asking for ink of the sea rather than blackfellow ink for Jessica Sellers. I deleted the SV lua for GW and LSW but it hasnt changed am i doing some thing wrong? or is this a defect. also as a JC is there a way to filter the creat by profit queue system? There is little use in making the wrath gems even if they are profitable because they dont sell.
Otherwise great addons and thanks for all the work you put in
I am sure I am doing something simply wrong, but I d/l and installed fresh LSW and GW versions this morning but I keep getting a warning/error that says "GnomeWorks LSW support requires an update to your local copy of LilSparky's Workshop". LSW seemed to be working with the default tradeskill gui and Skillet before I d/l GW.
I was running a SimCraft in the background whilst emptying my mailbox. I noticed chat messages from GnomeWorks warning about the inventory scan taking a long time. Thing is, GnomeWorks wasn't open. I'm guessing it currently hooks into any bag change and does a complete rescan? I think there should be an option or default to only do that when the crafting or queue window is open and do a rescan automatically when these get opened each time?
Lilsparky, for glyphs a stack uses 3 stacks of ink. I see now that GnomeWorks did indeed figure out to use the ink trader. For step by step ink trading would it be possible to have GnomeWorks buy the 60 in one click instead of having it spit out "GnomeWorks: Couldn't find item at vendor", buying 20, then the button text changing to process glyph whatever x40?
Sorry if I'm a little disorganized in my request, I'm not feeling well.
Anybody had a problem with the forge in Ramkahen? Gives 'Requires Forge' on any smelting attempt, even though standing right next to it. It isn't Gnomeworks or LilSparky - does the same thing with the standard Blizz GUI.
I really like the way gnomeworks can now queue up all the profitable scrolls based on controllable parameters. I'm not sure if it's supposed to and mine isn't or if it's a bug; when it queues up everything profitable, shouldn't it look at your bags to see if you already have some made? To my knowledge ktq is still broken for enchanting and I haven't found anything to replace it, if you added this feature to gnomeworks it would speed up my enchanting routine by a lot.
I think you meant "yunohu" not "yoshimo" and yes, gnomeworks becomes unresponsive in my case I listed. I could switch among professions, but I could not switch between recipes in any profession until I did a /reload
Vendor conversion doesn't work in r101. It worked before. Now when I queue glyphs, it tells me to get some herbs from bank and mill them, instead of buy inks from NPC. I can't change it anywhere, I tried "right-click -> choose vendor conversion" but it doesn't do anything. I've visited Jessica Sellers, but nothing changes. :(
I'm having the hidden tooltips problem again but I think I've narrowed it down just a bit. With GW up, I clicked on an item in the reagent list (in this case, Imbued Frostweave) to bring up the reagents for that item. After closing GW, I still have the tooltip hidden on the screen. I believe opening and closing GW will clear it.
derfla, the data collection isn't really an issue. the problem is taking the inventory and calculating what you can craft from it considering intermediate steps.
angelstein, what you're seeing is that there is no known source for those items. you're right, they should show up in the shopping list section, but it's a bit of a change from the version you were using before. gw is know tracking auction house inventories. when you visit the ah and have items queued, hit the "scan auctions" button. this will go thru all your queued up recipes and scan for item availability in the ah. from there, it makes a guess at what would be a cheap way to craft those items. you can right click the recipes to change things if you want to compare prices.
in the shopping list, you can click on an item to automatically search for that item. a new window will appear with the results of the search. you can click on items to buy them from this window.
i do need to add shift-clicking still just for completeness, but i think the auction scanner and purchasing system is pretty powerful as it stands.
Hello. Since I upgraded to the newest version, my reagents for queued items are not shown in the reagent part of the queue window but are rather shown underneath the queued items in the item part of the queue window. How do I change that so the reagents are once again listed in the reagent part of the window?
Here's a screenshot of my noob problem: http://i.imgur.com/n7DHl.jpg
Also, it would be really cool if it was possible to Shift+Click on reagents (listed in the main Gnoeworks window) into the auction house search bar so that the name of the item is automatically pasted into the search bar.

@contrebasse: thank you...I didn't realize it wasn't automatically downloading the latest version.
@Thrainen : you have to use the latest Alpha version of LSW.

Hi lilsparky,
I think you meant "yunohu" not "yoshimo" and yes, gnomeworks becomes unresponsive in my case I listed. I could switch among professions, but I could not switch between recipes in any profession until I did a /reload
I've figured out, there is a /gw command assigned to GnomeWorks, but there currently seems to be nothing useful one can do with it.
/gw - doesn't work /gw ? - doesn't work /gw help - doesn't work
Are there any commands assigned to it or are you still planning on it?

I'm getting the unresponsive window issue, even after quitting and restarting the wow client.
I couldn't find a ticket related to this (is there even a ticket search feature here?)
What steps can I take or information can I provide to help troubleshoot?
[edit: it magically healed itself, but I could still be advised on what to do if it reoccurs]
yoshimo, is this the dreaded unresponsive window thing?
With v101:
Went to mining trainer, learned smelt pyrite opened up smelting in GW
Unable to change recipes. Unable to change recipes if I change to any other profession now, either.

Yeah alright, the AH scanner is pretty fucking sweet indeed.
