GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
it used to work, danilche. could be something broke in the last few releases. i'll check into it.
hades, i had seen some potential problems with the way i was handling the common skills recipes before, but i had made those changes a couple revs ago.
as i work on the queue system, i'll be adding some features that should help us figure out where things are going south.
i'm curious, if you click on the greater essence in the reagent window, does it select the recipe from the common skills list? does it even show up as a link (blue)?
if you add a recipe to the queue, does it list the recipe to convert if you right click the source?
Sparky, excellent work on the addon. However, when I try to browse my guild's professions, and click on a guildy's tradeskill, Gnomeworks window comes up empty, and throws a LUA error. Perhaps this could be fixed? Either displaying default Blizzard tradeskill frame for guildy tradeskills, or displaying them in Gnomeworks correctly, would be fine.
Not sure if it's only affecting essences or if it does same for things like eternals and stuff too... not tested that... might be all of the "common" recipes.
Regarding the vendor conversion issue i posted before. I have both the mats in my bag plus the mats for the vendor conversion. But it always tries to do vendor conversion first. REALLY want to turn that off somehow. I have to struggle to get it to let me use the mats in my bag to create ink. If I right click on the ink in the Q, select source, and tell it 0x {insert name of} ink, it sometimes works. Sometimes I have to do it a couple times or change the Q order of items I'm creating.
Love all the new updates all the time! means this tool is getting better all the time! Thanks for all the hard work, and letting us share in your development lilsparky! looking good :)
it's the frame level of the main window. i put it in there as a debug aid. what's yours say. does it climb? maybe i should add another number that indicates the highest it's been. i think the unlickable recipe thing is related to frame levels climbing.
I first turned all my lesser's into greater's, but it left me 2 lesser left over, so I vendored them before testing... my recipes that used lesser showed none found.
I then turned all the greaters into lessers (including the 2 I bought back from the vendor) and tested again but GW showed none found for greater next to any recipe that needed them.
hades, try turning one essence into a greater and then back into a lesser using the normal blizzard ui (right-click use the item from your bag). it's possible that gw doesn't know that you know the conversion until you've scanned the recipe by hand and then it's not recognizing that it should recalculate craftability. maybe.
Ok, have just goten around to testing the conversion between Greater Celestial Essence and lesser celestial essence
With *zero* greater celestial essence on my toon at all (bank and bags) and loads of lesser celestial essence I look at the GW window and select a recipe that requires 3 greater celestial essence.
It says "None found" next to it.
I go into the "General" crafting and check and it correctly recognises that I can turn the lessers into greaters.. .go back to the enchanting skill and still it tells me I can't do any of those enchants that require greater.
Even adding them to queue doesn't do it... it just isn't seeing the conversions.
lesyde, if you get this problem again, you could do me a huge favor by running a few commands.
/script GnomeWorksFrame:SetFrameLevel(50)
see how the frame stack responds. try 75 and 100 as well just to see. maybe throw in 10. i'm curious if the messed up frame (ScrollFrame2-#x#) stays attached or if it somehow has lost its connection to the parent frames.
what do you do in a typical session when this breaks? raiding, pvp, purely crafting in a city, etc. how long do you run things before it breaks? what other mods?

Nope... it shows none craftable.

yeah, i had seen it. problem still exists?
does the "all recipes" list show that the enchants in questions are craftable with "alt" inventory?
LS... did you see my earlier post about the essences? It's on page 2 now.
Just wondering if there's any more tests or info I can get you for it to help sort it out?
there are a few outstanding issues related to the queue, so i hope to spend some time and focus on that aspect of things. on the list:

when it's not clickable.
A screenshot of the /framestack at what point? When the GW frame isn't responding to recipe clicks?
bsmorgan... how annoying. i don't understand what's going on. i think it's a bug in the blizz api or something... i dunno. it's mighty confusing.
can you post a ss of the /framestack?

My DK is now at frame level 148 and I can't click on recipes.
It appears to be climbing on my DK, up to 96 now. Not sure if Ticket #316 is causing problems, however. I have to /reload whenever I tickle that bug.
It ranges from 20 on one character to 60 on another. I haven't seen it climb yet.

What is the extra number in the main window title on r126?
As part of my test I have already tried that.
