GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
When I have a big queue of glyphs, the processing time for each glyph is very laggy, as are all other interactions (opening bags, post box etc.) with the queue closed the lag is gone. Is there some way to stop the queue from updating itself after each item is made, or is there some other reason for this delay?
EDIT: Actually scrap that, I realise that the list was HUGE, over 1000 glyphs. I will not make such huge batches in future. As the list dropped in size the processing sped up considerably.
I'd like to be able to link the items from the profession window. For example if i need to make one thing real quick for myself i could go to the pattern and shift click the reagent so i don't have to type it into the auction house window.
Or if someone wants to know the reagents for something i could link them to the person. and very rare occasions you like the recipe itself. Just a small thing that's bugging the crap out of me.
@lilsparky:
Yes, seems like you fixed (or solved) it (the GW is unresponsive issue - Frame level 128 bug). Can you take a look at the table headers? Seems like they still vanish sometimes. Guess it's the same issue. Still GW seems to run smoothly now.
Thanks for the explanation. It cleared up some misunderstandings on my part. I did not describe very well the issue I'm having.
Gnomeworks shows I can make 2 Major: Maul glyphs. I select queue (create not available as I don't have ink made). In queue the only option for making the ink is "Purchase Stranglekelp" at the top and under "Reagent" Action->Stranglekelp.
In my backpack I have plenty of herbs (not Stranglekelp, other herbs) that I can mill to make the correct pigment. How can I change the queue, to remove purchase/auction and have it use what is in my bags? Right clicking on "Purchase Stranglekelp" only gives me stranglekelp options and none of the selection is for my bags.
It does this for any recipe that requires Midnight Ink. If I select a recipe that uses a different kind of ink, it currently defaults to what I have in my bags.
I hope I've made sense. Thanks.
PS re the doubling others are seeing. I'm seeing this for Parchments needed to purchase
The queue's reagents list is doubling up on the required mats. Queuing 3 timeless nightstones through GW would give me a queue requirement of 6 raw nightstones.
yeoman, i'm implementing what i hope will be a significant boost in queue parsing performance. but it's one of those "behind the scenes" kind of things where i need to add other stuff first...
not sure what the problem is with the ink queuing. i'll get on my scribe and see what happens.
jiminimonka, create a macro called "GWProcess" and then gw will fill it in with the appropriate code to process your crafting.
Hey! For now i'm sticking with some very old version, like r102 or something like that, but i do read every release changes, and don't see anything about performance fix. Any plans? I'm very very uncomplaining, you see, month have passed, 30+ releases, and it's still slow as hell :)

gw112, lsw110
In debug mode, ShowQueueList (under InventoryScanComplete) is still around 1.1 - 1.3 sec per operation when cafting glyphs or taking out of mailbox inks.
Anyway, tried today r137 with lsw r114. First, WoW freezes on every SHIFT key press (to chat, or to change spellbars), when i have large queue. Second thing, my queue with KTQ asked me 2 times more inks, then with old version, for example, need 500 glyphs, it's 1500 inks, but this new version queued 3000 inks.
lol. yeah, good point frosty. i hadn't really considered this because gw only looks to de things you can actually craft yourself. the idea being that it's all just crafting if you make it then break it.
but if you're wearing the item, it will register as being in your inventory. i would suggest you right click on the maelstrom crystal reagent for whatever recipe you are looking to craft. this will bring up a menu of recipes that produce maelstrom crystals. you can shift-click to blacklist whatever items you want to have it not consider as a source for these items.
I had 1 Potion of Illusion in my queue. thus the 0 craftable for that row. but when I cleared the queue it remained a white 1, but gained the bag color craftable of 1
yeah, i need to figure out why it's not coloring the requirements properly. i think it's due to a change in the way i'm computing craftable inventory which has sort of confused it.
i'm a little concerned by the azshara's veil line. do you have anything in the queue that would be consuming the azshara's veil? craftable should never really be less than what's in your inventory...
currently looking in my bags I have 1 - Azshara's Veil, 0 - Volatile Life, and 13 - Crystal Vials.
I want to make 1 Potion of Illusion, so I open GW, and looking at the required reagents this is what I see.
so the first row is VERY confusing because it's showing a white 1 but I have 1 in my bags, yet row 2 is showing a white 3 and I don't have any of those, and row 3 is showing a RED 1 but I have 13 of those.... shouldn't row 2 show a red 3 because I don't have any, and rows 1 and 3 show white 1s because I do have those in my inventory?
First, just want to say this is taking shape nicely!
I'm wondering if there is any kind of simple instructions yet, to help us understand some of the less obvious features?
Also, I find I'm confused by the color choice in the # column (next to Reagent). White would seem more like the proper color for when you DO have them, and red seems like STOP, you don't, but at the moment they seem to be swapped. any chance we can swap those? :)
oh, and on r133 last night I had several stacks of cloth, but when I opened to level my first aid, it never showed that I had more than 20 in the # of reagents, even though I was able to continue crafting and use up all stacks.
I get this errormessage when click to sort one of the columns. The sorting then stops working, and also the thingy where you can choose to only show orange/yellow/green recipes. This is for version r136.

Hey, love the addon just have one request.

138 should fix the double shopping reagent thing...
Confirming DavidThemachine's report. GW 137 handles available mats correctly, but mats which are missing are doubled.

Is there a way to bind the crafting button to a keypress?

Rolling back to very very old version.

How do I get it to ignore what I'm wearing when determining disenchantable materials?
ie. It will say I have 7 Maelstrom Crystals, but that would mean DE'ing my gear :(

oh, and just now I was unable to change sort order in r136 by clicking on Skill Up or any column title. (after reloaded UI it worked again)

Same error as ErikB, ticket #332
