GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
Is it possible for you to add back in the initial list of missing mats to the bottom window of the queue frame? It would be beneficial to be able to see everything I'm missing before taking a trip to the ah as I usually check other sources first before forking out coin :P I also tended to run around with the queue frame open which I can't do now that I need the skill panel open instead to see missing mats.
This addon is very useful, and I recommend it to practically everyone I talk to. One question: I have a character with enchanting and jewelcrafting. I use both of these professions to craft things to make money, and that means that I need to be careful about how I acquire the mats. How do I stop Gnomeworks from assuming that I want to craft items to disenchant?
I second this, each char you put into the search frame causes a search to happen. Giving it some sort of input cooldown of 100-250ms per char to finish inputting data before it begins a search would really prevent that, while still giving it the ability to update searches on the fly without hitting enter.
Hey lilsparky. Thanks for the addon I use it a LOT.
One thing I was wondering is if there is a way to turn off showing mats in the guild bank as available for use in Gnomeworks. Normally it isn't an issue, but my main has access to guild bank stuff that I can't use for myself. This would make my life MUCH easier if this is possible. Thanks, and keep up the good work!
Creating groups does not work at all for me. I followed your directions in this post, and in Vonliege's post under this, and nothing happens. I selected all the recipes I wanted in a group, hit ctrl-g, nothing. I created a new custom group (which appeared to just contain all my recipes flat), selected ones I didn't want and hit ctrl-x, nothing. Any ideas?
sangorium, you should be able to link your tradeksill by shift-clicking on the icon of the tradeskill you with you link. it should work for your current toon or even an alt.
burnum, i'm actually planning something along those lines. i want to create a system where filters can be saved into auto-groups so you could have a group with profitable rare orange gems that come from world drops as a group that is always updated. unfortunately for my wow coding, i've been occupied at work and so gw has been sort of idle. luckily it's mostly working so i don't have to feel too bad about having sit in an unusable state... when you say you hope the sorting gets fixed, can you elaborate a bit? i know of only one sorting problem which is that there's no alpha sort (the sort on recipes is by blizzard skill index).
I have an idea, what about smart custom layouts (groups). (not unlike iTunes) So for example there could be one that just automatically filters down to patterns you can level your skill with. Or ones that are profitable to make, with a level range.
also, hope to see sorting fixed soon, so for now I can click on skill up change column and get that. :)
I don't have the addon xanMortarPestle
I really had the idea it was done thru GWTF :)
Edit 29-4:
But you were right.
It was another addon. I had Molinari installed a few weeks ago, cause Panda doesn't load most of the time.
Molinari never worked really since I installed it.
But after the update I found today from Molinari it did work (with the Alt button and with sparkling).
So I think on my first char yesterday, after trying lots of things with GWTF, by accident Molinari worked.
Being on the next char yesterday it didn't work again.
I'm using GWTF since yesterday. And I like it a lot.
I searched for an answer to my question but I can't find it anywhere :)
How do you enchant, prospect or mill the items in your bag?
I know its possible or it was a coincidence, but I enchanted some items somehow.
While trying all kind of things. Suddenly the bag-items sparkled and I could DE them. (with the Alt-button)
But I don't know what I did.
Now I'm trying to prospect some ore on another char and can't get it done.
Also I kind find a guide somewhere to figure it out.
i understand that GW will open when a tradeskill spell is used. What i want to know will you be adding a Broker support for GW so that i do not need any tradeskill in my action bars at all. Just a good old broker icon i can click to open GW.
kaisoul, gw should respond to normal tradeskill events so if a broker mod opens your ts frame, gw should open instead.
gunnerwsa, gw is a tradeskill frame replacement. i wrote it based on my experience with skillet, so in that regard it could be thought of as a spiritual successor to skillet. however, skillet has been picked up and is actively maintained by yossa.
potatboy, gw doesn't have any automated selling or listing system. the vendor support is purely to purchase needed reagents and track conversions.
Any chance in future releases that the addon works with those broker addons so people can just have one little icon they can click to load this up. Still looking into this addon as of today but so far it looks to me like this one will be a winner.

@Drashnar
You can do this by clicking on Plugins > Toggle Inventories and selecting guildbank to keep it from being included.

So far I'm really liking this mod. However, it is using a lot of CPU whenever you enter text into the search field. Can that been optimized?

Don't know if it's LSW or Gnomeworks, but 4.1 got rid of the cooldown for Icy Prism, and Gnomeworks still (sort of) thinks it's there.
When I say sort I mean when you click on the column title like craft able or skill up. I seem to not get all my 100% skill ups at the top.
Update... never mind, i figured out what I was doing wrong. looking good! :)

How can I link my trade book with this add. I have been looking for days and can not figure it out

milling and the like via the alt key sounds like the addon xanMortarPestle.

How does the Vendor button work? Is it supposed to be for vendor purchasable items or allow for vendoring of crafted items?
Is there a way to have GW craft then vendor in queues?
Is Gnomeworks a replacement for Skillet?
