GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame -
a complete replacement for the blizzard trade skill frame.
I have been looking for an ATSW replacement for some time (due to performances problem) and i stumbled on your addon and i must say it's really nice.
I just found a weird bug with Ackis Recipe List (useful to track the recipes you miss and where they are found).
If i load the game/UI with both selected, your addon behave weirdly, when i open the ts windows i've got the buttons for all the professions, but clicking on them don't do anything.
If i load the game with just your addon, then reload ui with ARL it's working pretty fine (even if i still miss the "scan" button for ARL but it's because it doesn't detect the ts interface, the rest works fine).
In both case, i didn't find any error message related to this in bugsack so i don't know what is causing this or why.
And same question than earlier, there is a plugin button and plugins options, but what plugins are those ?
Where to find them ?
Is there a list of the plugins somewhere and of what they are supposed to do ?
And i'm supporting the possibility to disable the auto-pickup or at least have a confirmation warning before doing so.
PS : Thx for the great work, it's really nice and performance-wise it works great.
As a former user of Skillet and KTQ, I have to say I'm not really happy with the direction Gnomeworks is taking with Inscription. This is especially the case since KTQ now requires Gnomeworks as a dependancy.
With Skillet, I could queue up my glyphs, go to my ink trader and trade my inks of the sea for the inks I needed in my queue. With Gnomeworks, it always wants me to buy herbs to mill.
Given that the vendor is currently broken (you can't buy any vendor item in stacks that uses a non-gold currency) AND that no self-respecting scribe EVER buys anything other than herbs for Inks of the Sea, I barely use my once often used Tradeskills add ons.
Right now, I'm using Zero Auctions (formerly Quick Auctions) queuing system to buy and trade in my inks for my inscription business.
If I am missing something and Gnomeworks will interface with Jessica Sellers properly, please tell me. Otherwise, please, PLEASE fix this feature of Gnomeworks. Old world herbs are scarce and cost a fortune. Professional scribes only use high end herbs to create IotS and they do this routinely with the auto-disenchant feature of Auctioneer so there is really no need to be queuing old world inks for crafting.
Getting this error whenever I login after the new update.

EDIT:
After WoW crashed for me when entering an instance, it suddenly works. Weird.
GnomewWorks is Great, but am I missing a 'plugin' or something? I thought I saw in one of the screen shots or something, that "price for mats/AH price for finished item" or something like that could be displayed....
like in Skillet, or Lil'sparkies workshop... should I also add in those? but if so, WHERE from? None of the versions I find work at all.
So I haven't tried it but I think I understand the click-to-collect thing you're describing as currently available. Can I suggest that you add an option somewhere to turn off all automatic purchases & withdrawals and just let us click to collect? I don't mind automatic withdrawals from my bank, but I have some issues with them in other places. There are real reasons why I may want to use the orb or ink trader for one type of mat but not all the others. Currently if I visit one of those traders, I will make an irreversible purchase for all outstanding materials they can provide me.
I've actually been to the frozen orb trader and had GW spend all my orbs on a type of eternal to which I have easy access, leaving me with none for the eternals for which I really needed to trade. I'm not calling this a bug, just something that we should be disable. Personally, I think the default setting should either be disabled or to pop a confirmation dialog each time you'd auto-withdraw.
I do like the idea of prioritizing different sources. I would just suggest that if you do that, we should maybe be able to treat different guilds differently. For example, I am actually in four guilds on one server right now—but for simplicity's sake we'll say I have two: my private bank guild and my progression raiding guild. The way I'd like to prioritize my withdrawals looks something like: bags, bank, private guild, alts, auction house, progression guild.
There are also cases I can see where I'd also treat my banker alt different from my other alts, but I'm less concerned about that case than I am about different guilds: it's a lot easier to control which alt I use.
Incidentally, I'm also having the aggressive list pop-ups of the skill window on my Scribe/Herb. I was guessing it was the milling that was doing this but I suppose maybe it's the herbalism.
Thanks again. I hope you got the donation. ( Hint hint to the rest of you :P )
@lilsparky Yes, as a matter of fact she is :) Hope that helps.
I am not sure if this was the issue, but I was experiencing some lockups on zoning after updating. Again, not sure if its related, but everything else seems to be bug free . . ish :)
Great work. If you need any other info let me know.
i dled the latest update and the queue frame is still constantly popping up. is there a way to disable that or stop it from happening ( the previous version before todays release had no pop up issues )
sarah: you can actually click on any of the breakdowns to collect from wherever you are. so if you don't want to use guildbank mats and would rather buy them from a vendor, you can do that by clicking on the guildbank items while at the vendor. or you could get from the auction house (once that's all set up). because the system is dynamic, once you collect items into your bags, the list will update.
i want to add some prioritization code to the queue system still. so for example, you could queue up a recipe then tell it to give the auction house priority over the guildbank. right now, it's bank, guildbank, vendor, alt, auction house. (actually, i'm not entirely sure where the alt fits in that list) if you re-arrange them, the flow through will change and the shopping list will reflect this.
i also want to add some blacklisting features to not consider particular conversions and perhaps even blacklist item sources (guild banks, for example).
Great work with the shopping list LS: it looks really good.
I'd really love to see some source management added though. I have many characters, and memberships in a few different guilds for different characters. I don't really want it to split up my shopping list and say I need to take certain items from a guild bank—but I can live with that.
But auto-withdrawing materials from a guild bank is really a dangerous feature. If it's my personal guild's bank, I don't mind, but if it's my raiding guild I don't want to have to explain why I took all the mats from a tab if I shouldn't have. I also may not want to use up all my withdrawals for the day on some low-level herbs.
I'd love to have a way to turn guild withdrawals and shopping lists on and off. Controlling this by guild would be great, but turning it off altogether would be fine too.
I'm getting the following error and when I log in with various chars, it prints out on the screen that it is scanning for a profession for a character other than the one I am logged in with. I removed the Saved Vars first time in but it seems to happen as I log in each of my alts.

Could you please add some config?
And I would really love GW not to include stuff in my bank to your available materials list. Specially I hate that it thinks I will mill whatever herbs I have and make ink of it ... I will not! (config option idea there - toggle "Will you make necessary materials")
For me the queue frame pops up all the time:
- Someone from my party zones in the instance, it pops up.
- I open the mailbox, it pops up.
- I open the AH, it pops up.
- I talk to a vendor, it pops up.
I raised ticket #101 about the queue window issue (so all the info is in one place for lilsparky). I've only got it to appear when questing myself. You might want to add a comment if appears elsewhere for you.
This is happening to me as well, as I empty glyphs from the post box, the queue/shopping list pops up, and if I close it it opens as soon as I pick out a new glyph from the post box. This is on an un-skilled alt btw.
Thanks for the new version. I installed it just now and the one thing I'm finding so far is that the queue window keeps popping up at strange moments.
It first came up when I opened the Inscription window, and I closed it. But then it popped up after I made the item for the JC daily quest, and it popped up again when I interacted with the JC trainer/quest giver to turn in the daily quest. Then it popped up after I finished applying poison to a weapon. Like I said, strange moments.
there is now a shopping list which is broken up into categories based on the item source. click the item in the shopping list to collect/purchase/search for that item depending on where you're currently located. i think if you click the header, it should collect all the items it can. the auction scanner might barf on this, tho... in fact, the auction scanner is a first pass at the moment. the goal here will be to eventually search the ah and buy the cheapest items available to meet your needs.
gw also now auto-generates a macro called "GWProcess". simply create an empty macro in your non-character specific macro list called "GWProcess" and gnomeworks will fill in the proper macro code to execute the next process. this can be dragged to an action button with a keybind to allow repeated executions.
it might be best to clear your saved vars just to make sure everything is nice and clean and no pre-4.0 data is hiding anywhere...
@FyreMast, the price functionality comes from LilSparky's Workshop

Bugs out with latest version r56 when I log in. Wiped saved vars and still bombed on first aid but I was able to get pat it.
Leaves a box in the middle of the screen till brute forced.

You can do that via the filtering. Right click the 'Craftable' heading and select 'bags' from the submenu.

Love this addon, now if i can only get this to work in 4.0.1 :(
"1x GnomeWorks-r54\Window.lua:698: attempt to compare number with nil"
Window pops up, search and everything else works but the create button is greyed out
