 I get errors mousing over any of the nodes, anyone know of a fix?

Getting an error in 9.0.2:

HandyNotes_LongForgottenHippogryph\handler.lua is empty.

Thanks to this addon i just got the Long Forgotten Hippogryph ^_^

I've started looking for this recently, and I'm wondering why some of the map icons are purple and some are red. Is there a difference? Or is this an issue with my own game? Anyone else have this show up? A friend of mine said his never showed red icons

When looking at the crystal nodes on my map, I am unable to "hide node" from the map after I've searched the area. :(

I have read on some of these sites, that there are over 100 spawn points for the crystals.
