Heal Organizer
This add-on helps organizing the healers in your raid by allowing the user to drag and drop healers into different assignments. Assignments can be as complex or simple as the user wishes.
= Quick Start =
- Open Heal Organizer by using the slash command: /healorganizer, /hlorg, or /ho
- Click on the default assignments (%MT1%, %MT2%, …etc) to change wording
- Drag and drop healers into assignments
- Optionally enable whispering assignments by clicking “Whisper healers…”
- Click “Raid”/”Channel” in the “Broadcast” section to publish the healing assignments.
= Usage =
- Assignments can use %MT1% through %MT10% as replacement strings for main tank names. Main tanks can be set via CT_Raid enabled add-ons like Ora2.
- Any unassigned healer automatically takes on the “Remaining” assignment, but will not be whispered.
- There is a key binding registered under the WoW standard key binding interface. (Press ESC => Keybindings, to bring it up).
= Autofill =
Hover over an empty slot and use your mouse wheel. It will cycle through the following labels:
- Empty
- Priest
- Druid
- Paladin/Shaman
= Saving Sets =
You can define 30 sets which can be saved, loaded and deleted. Each set saves the assignment text and class for each assignment. It does not save the healers’ names as players are likely to change between raids.
= Slash Commands =
/ho dialog
This will open the heal organizer dialogue. This can be used in a macro or you can just setup a key binding via the standard WoW key binding interface (ESC => Keybindings, look near the end).
/ho autosort
This option toggles whether players will be sorted by class/name within groups. This is only useful if the order you assign healers denotes things like backup healers or secondary healers.
= SVN/Contributing =
Contributions/suggestions are always welcome, but it doesn’t mean I will always use/implement them. Please feel free to contact me! For source contributions please provide a diff.

Developement stopped.
The developement of this addon is stopped, both for HealOrganizer and the unfinished HealOrganizer3. My account ends mid march and I have no any time to play wow. So, if you want to take the lead of the developement ask me or just fork it.
I'm planning a new version, you should add any comments on http://www.wowace.com/wiki/HealOrganizer/Version3 ;)
I love this addon, but I'd really like to be able to save actual assignments with player names instead of just the classes. That way I could set up a trash healing assignment, make boss healing assignments along the way, and rebroadcast the trash mob assigns after bosses.
Also, when someone leaves the raid, their name isn't removed from the healer list. Their names aren't broadcast with the assignments, but it is kind of annoying : \
Thank you Progman for a great addon!
Hi,
First : great mod. I've been using it for weeks and really like it as it is simple and very efficient.
I'd like to suggest some feature requests.
When a group is set as a %MTi%, would it be possible to firstly autofill the healers with people in that MT's group?
In an instance, I usually assign healers for Trash Mobs, then prepare the boss encounter. But when a healer whisps me "heal", the addon replies the boss assignment instead of the trash one, even if I didn't broadcast it yet. So basically, would it be possible to kinda save the last broadcasted assignment? That way, people whispering me could see their actual status (and not the future assignment). To go further, I would love to have a pop-up with every assignment I have broadcasted for the current raid and be able to reload any of them.
Thx, and tell me If there is a better way to submit feature requests ;)
PS : sorry for my english. I hope you understood what I meant ^^
In the file HealOrganizer.lua, delete near line 743 the command with "this:SetPoint(......)". It looks like this isn't nessessary anymore.
Since it is only a little change I will not release it as new version, but if you update from the svn I have commit the changes.
I'm having the same issue as eviloz
just a little issue (it was there all the time)
on a 16/10 display dragging of player is not accurate (player label is 2 cm shifted from actual mouse cursor position)
keep up , this rules!!
i just changed toc to v1.3.141592 and everything seems well
I love this addon, thanks for supporting it for 2.0
If you dont know, this is the easiest mod for organizing heals. And it's ace'd!
A must for raid leaders.
Changed it for wow2.0 Added RosterLib-2.0 and Babble-Class-2.0 (but doesn't still use it...)
This is, as you notice the "b", a beta-release (althought its marked here as stable). I got a lot of "$Addon is blocked"-messages during developing, so I dont know if this works properply.
(btw.: why are the comments sorted wrong?)
Anyone know if this will be updated for 2.0?
Great addon, makes the RL much easier.
1 feature request: Having this mod sync with others in raid. It would be nice to decuss on ventrilo while seeing the updates being made, but make it so only promoted ppl could change :)
First thing first : amazing addon !
A suggestion : In autofill, when labels such as %MT1% are used, prefer a healer from the same group than the MT1. Even better : make the assignation an editable field, with for instance : %P(1)% : priest of group 1 %D(1)% : druid of group 1 Make key-modification for drag and drop of the healers : _ shift click : copy the healer, without removing it from its source : such a healer is assigned to several groups _ shift mousewheel : choose the group of origin of a healer.
ppl that left raid sometimes remains in hlorg (often with wrong color) resetting or changing dont removes em :((
this should be happend if you (re)open the dialog, at least if you press "reset"
the saving feature is really usefull
just a question : any way to remove ppl no more in raid?
Hey I have some problems I cant Broadcast. in Raid i can but not in ^^chanel^^ It says that im not in channel but i am so any of u know what is wrong ?
fixed the missing "h" in ChatThrottleLib
Very nice addon
Is there any possibility that u can add an option so i could only assign priests for an example. so i dont got druids and shammys as rest, dont want to spam them with whispers.
And is it possible to get the broadcast channel to work with the "class channels" addon
First, big thanks to make this nice addon. It really helps me to assign healing target and don't make so much mess in healers camp.
About error - you have to rename properly folder ChatThrottle in Libs folder - in zip it is ChatTrottle.
ps. feature that allow healers to be assigned to more then on target (let's say by using shift or whatever key) would be cool too ;)
