HideLooted

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

HideLooted is a simple addon designed to suppress chat messages when specified items are looted or created by characters other yours, or are of a lower quality than a set rarity level. Paired with addons such as PassLoot and GreedBeacon, this addon helps clean up loot spam in your chat window and allows you to focus on chat!

By default, HideLooted suppresses loot notifications for all battleground Marks of Honor, Badges of Justice, Emblems of Heroism and Valor and Stone Keeper's Shards. Any of these may be removed from the list of suppressions and further items may be added.

All configuration can be done through the Blizzard Interface Options frame and can be accessed directly via the slash commands /hl or /hidelooted.

To create/update translations for other languages than enUS, please do so though the Localization Page

How about adding another option for filtering away stuff you loot from the chat? Could live without messages for all the gray and white stuff I loot. Preferably a separate drop down menu so you can have different filter levels for you and for other party members :)

Ohhhhh I didn't know that. I hav ea lot of that hidden anyway, so I'll have to unhide it then play with the options. Thanks for saving my chat frame.

Actually, it does hide based on rarity as well, just at the time of the previous comment the filter for greys was broken :)

It is not meant to hide items looted by your party members that you have not added. If you wish to hide all greys from being seen, you'll have to manually add each grey to the list. This is meant to clear up the "So and so receives Emblem of Triumph" spam from appearing in your chat frame, which can seriously impair chat if you're in a 25 man raid.

hi
is it possible you forgot grey items?
i set my item rarity to blue, but i still see it when people loot gray items.
