To fix for 4.1 go into the hotcandy.lua and

on line 306:

change

function HotCandy:CombatLogHandler(event, timestamp, clevent, srcGUID, srcName, srcFlags, dstGUID, dstName, dstFlags, spellId, spellName, school, type, stack)

to

function HotCandy:CombatLogHandler(event, timestamp, clevent, hideCaster, srcGUID, srcName, srcFlags, dstGUID, dstName, dstFlags, spellId, spellName, school, type, stack)


You basically add the 'hideCaster,' to compensate for the additional parameter added to combat events in 4.1. This can be used to fix a lot of other mods that involve combat log parsing.

Love this addon; I can't imagine druid healing without it.

However, I think it's about time for an update. There seems to be a bug/issue in which Wild Growth refreshes itself each time it ticks. It didn't do that before 4.0 (of course! stupid patches breaking everything). I've been able to deal with it since, but every now and then it gets agitating and misleading. :P

firstly, thank you very much for the time and efforts put in to bringing us this terrific addon.
is there any way to include the holy priest's lightwell into this ? I understand it may be more complex to do since it requires the party or raid member to click on the well themselves .. but at over 13k heals over 6 secs .. I'd really like to be able to track that

ok, been using this for awhile and it seems the recent patch broke something with power word: shield making it refresh the duration on every absorb. I checked the combat log and it shows it refreshing to show the amount of points it can still absorb, I'd guess this is making it reset the timer with hotcandy.

would it be possible to restrict the display of hotsto a few selected targets? for instance just seeing hots active on the tanks?

This is the functionality I want, and I am so disappointed I cannot find an addon to do this. If I could pick 2-3 targets for HoT Tracking only, this addon would be awesome. I can't find any other addon to do this, you should definitely add this functionality to yours.

A very powerful addon - I use it for healing (druid).
Recently I was wondering if it is possible to add tics for the hot/dot bars (like EventHorizon for example), so you can manage reapplying of the casts more easily...

Annoying bug, bars move between game sessions, down a bar or two and slightly right.

Does the same thing for me. Even locked, etc etc.

Is there anything I can take out of the .lua to only make it track spells I cast on myself?

This isn't working with the new cross-realm instances. My hots aren't showing timers for people on other realms?

First time in a long time that Hot Candy has bugged for me. I reinstalled it and still have the same problem. All the spells it tracks count down to 0.1 seconds and remain flashing, sometimes creating a HUGE mess on my screen. Here's a screen shot of a smaller section of spells cast that counted down but that wouldn't clear from the mod
