This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

IgnoreMore will:

Let you ignore more than 49 players
Share the same ignore list between all players on the same realm (and faction).
See when someone was ignored
Give a reason for why the person is ignored
NOT respond with "X is ignoring you" (unless the person was initially added to the system Ignore list before IgnoreMore was installed)

The "/ignore" command is also extended with a second parameter giving a reason directly, e.g.:
"/ignore Mikk : loudmouthed guy".
You can also double-click lines in your ignore list to edit these comments.

It happened again tonight. Someone whispered me, I whispered them back and an addon informed me that I have that person on ignore. I checked my ignore list and sure enough, I've had that person on ignore for almost a year now, but they still managed to whisper me tonight. O.o But After I whispered him back and got the message that I had him on ignore, I didn't hear from him again. It's like the addon needed to be reminded that he's on ignore.

I'm not sure if I was still in the party or not when he whispered me. But I know that I remember a time when I wasn't in a party and I got one that I had on ignore. I was in Ironforge standing in the auction house and I put someone on ignore that I saw chatting in the trade channel. I wasn't in a party and yet, he whispered me successfully. It seemed kinda strange though. It was like after he got a successful whisper in, THEN the add-on ignored him. See, this is what I'm saying. It's like, sometimes it works, and other times it doesn't. *shrug*

I should mention that IgnoreMore purposefully does not ignore people in partychat right now - it stuck me as a semi-useful idea.

But having him be able to _whisper_ you sounds... wrong.

Okay. Fair enough. It's not the names per se. The names that aren't being ignored the way they should aren't spelled in a special way. However, I'll provide an example. Tonight, I was in a dungeon run with someone that I didn't have on ignore. Things didn't go well so I put him on ignore. That seemed to work. I didn't get any whispers from him nor did I see any posts from him in the party chat. We came to a boss, killed it, and then I saw his posts in party chat; more than one. Afterwards, I got a successful whisper from him. I checked my ignore list, and sure enough, he's still on it. It seems to be intermittent. That is to say, that sometimes it'll ignore people, and sometimes it'll just stop ignoring them. It's not just one or two names on my list either. And the names in my ignore list aren't filled with special characters. They're just normal characters in the names. Would you have examples of working and non-working player names?

"Needs to be updated" is ummm... wha? It's up to date.

This seems to be acting fickle for me. It'll ignore some but not others. I don't know what's happening but it would seem that it needs to be updated.

I and my friends mourned the loss of this addon with the 2.4 patch. I can not even _begin_ to tell you how happy it makes me to see it again. A very hearty thank you.

patch 3.0 and IgnoreMore doesn't functioning.
