Incognito
Incognito adds you name in front of your chat messages. Can be enabled for guild (and officer), party and raid chat messages.
E.g.:
[Guild] [Yourchar]: Some chat message
becomes
[Guild] [Yourchar]: (Yourname): Some chat message
Usage
You can use the GUI config dialog or the slash commands /incognito or /inc
Slash options
- config - Open configuration dialog
- enable - Enable or disable adding your name to chat messages
- name - The name that should be displayed in your chat messages
GUI options
- Enable - Enable adding your name to chat messages.
- Name - The name that should be displayed in your chat messages
- Guild - Add name to guild chat messages
- Party - Add name to party chat messages
- Raid - Add name to raid chat messages
- Channel - Add name to chat messages in a custom channel
- Debug - Enable debugging messages output. You probably don't want to enable this

Posted Sep 7, 2018I can't mark the Hide name if match the current char, you click on it, it get marked, but won't save, if you press ok and back it is unchecked, any change will uncheck to..

Posted Dec 13, 2016I, also, would love to see this addon picked up by someone and updated on a regular basis. This is by far a core utility addon for me :D
I wish I knew coding ..but sadly I don't.
Is there anyone out there willing to pick this beautiful addon up, I would be so sad to lose this one. I have noticed as well since patch 7.1 that Incognito has caused some glitches in my game mostly due to its being so out of date.

well already a native update for legion would be nice ^ ^ ,
also i notice people in my guild having difficulty with the name setting because of the " Okay " button lol , not sure if you can streamline that ? ,
i have also been thinking if a simple profile system would be in order ? , like now the addon will use set configuration for all chars and servers , but say i have my main Alliance guild on Lightbringer server and allow to show my real name because i have friends there; but some obscure Horde alt guild on Darkspear server they should not have to know it for sake of privacy, now we need to disable the addon per char basis .......
any new features you might have heard / thought off since WoD aswell maybe :)

Posted Sep 1, 2016Well, i have a little problem with this addon(not sure if this is cuz it is outdated) but other addons works... Every time i download it and try to use it(use outdates addons) in game i get error 132.... Dunno what is wrong... Any idea? Cheers
