InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory_Fix

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

I have merged the code from this addon into BlizzBugsSuck which fixes various other bugs as well

fixes the issue with InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory not actually opening the Category (and not even scrolling to it)

this fix only works for the current live version of wow (as of 6/27/2010) it will print a error message to either upgrade or remove after that (cause who knows maybe blizzard will fix it)

doesn't work in combat as it would taint your UI

still broken for me (even on the PTR)

(the problem is that it opens the widow (always has) but does not go to the category if its not displayed in the list on the left)

InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory() works fine now with the default game instalation.

No, it doesn't. If the addon list is long enough to have a scrollbar, only those addons that are visible in that list, without scrolling, will be properly selected when you call InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory(). At least that's what I'm seeing in version 3.3.3....InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCateogory still iterates over the array of buttons that comprise the list items in the addon category list, to find the desired category. If the addon's list item is not visible, there will be no button in that array for InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory to find.

InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory() seems to work fine now with the default game instalation.

Has this been fixed by Blizzard? And if not, can you update to remove the login spam :P?
