I like that this addon shows the price of one unit in stacks... Blizzard didn't make theirs have that function! Anoys th crap out of me >:( Please update this addon :)
You want a reason to keep this mod going?.... heres a good one.... it shows the vendor sale price of items on AH.... great for working out what to buy because someone has not put the right price up...
Do not discontinue this mod, it's always had it's uses :)
Thank you for making this mod... and ty for keeping it alive
Id like an addon that removes Blizzards Price tooltips and does not show any price tooltip. I don't need, and I don't want them. Maybe anyone has an idea?
I was wondering here... should this be kept alive or no?
I like ItemPriceTooltip's price line better than the built-in since it displays per-item price as well as current stack value (Blizzard's only does the latter).
I've got a stripped-down version locally right now without ItemPrice-1.1 but ... hrm yeah, I'm not even sure about what direction we should take with respect to GetSellValue(). GetItemInfo() obviously returns prices. ... but only for items in the cache.
I like ItemPriceTooltip's Tooltips much more than Blizzard's, mainly just the style preference.
I've no idea on where to get sell values from, maybe you can make it so it tries to retrieve it from cache, and if there's none, refer back to LibItemPrice?
This functionality is apparently included in the base UI as of 3.2, so it's fairly likely that this addon - and others like it - will become obsolete. Unless Blizzard manages to do a subpar job of implementing functionality this easy, that is.
Love this addon, but since Curse and Interface has chosen to block wowmatrix since 3.1 I won't be using it, having to have 3 different downloaders/updaters to take care of what one can more than adequetly do is 2 more programs on my computer than I want. Please switch to wowmatrix. tyvm
Learn to update manually, WowMatrix has been profiting off other people's work and should have been blocked years ago. Also, if you're so lazy that you can't update a SINGLE add-on manually you don't deserve to use it.
Open Source means you have access to the source, not that you have to get someone's client to be able to download it... it is about time they did it and more sites need to do it. I know if I find the addon I wrote on it I will be requesting that they remove it from their lists
You can't "switch" to wowmatrix. They don't host files. They just leech off of other sites' bandwidth, suppress their ads, and show their own ads instead.
I.e. they make money out of.. next to nothing.. while stealing bandwidth (which costs actual real-life money, and lots of it) off of the real hosting sites. Guess why us authors don't like it? We want the hosting sites to be able to stay in business!
I'm also hoping for an update; this add-on stopped working with the 3.1.0 patch, and it's one of those little things that makes the game that much more enjoyable.

And it worked just fine without it, learn to check "Load out-of-date addons" in the addons screen before claiming it doesn't work.
thank you for sharing!
it's good!
