This is a complete rewrite of ItemsMatrix. Unlike it's predecessor, ItemSync features a new database scheme for data storage and is much more efficient at processing items then ItemsMatrix was. ItemSync also has a new way to display information in the tooltips as well as several new enhancements to filtering and searching capabilities.

ItemSync brings also a new look to the mod.
ItemSync is an item collection mod. It will gather items from all sorts of locations. Some examples are the chatbox, inspecting, auction house, linking, inventory, bank, etc.. It also grabs vendor prices and sell prices from merchants.
ItemSync will keep a record of all the valid and invalid items. It will only display to you those items of which are valid. If you wish to view the invalid items, simply click on the 'Show Invalid Items' button to be displayed a list of invalid items.
ItemSync constantly monitors items and will validate them the moment they become valid. It does this with no risk to you of disconnection. Another way you can do this is by hovering your mouse over the invalid items list. If an invalid item shows a tooltip that item is now valid.
There are tons of features are your disposal! You can filter what items ItemSync grabs. You can optimize your database to make it more efficient. A search ability is also at your disposal. You even get a nifty little external bag mod that will list to you the prices of the items currently in your inventory. This bag view mod allows you to right click and use/equip items, you can even sell and repair items, just like a real bag! Want to purge the database by a rarity? Well you can in ItemSync. You can even delete duplicated items that may occur in the database. Optimizing is an excellent feature to keep your database up to date. If you feel the urge to clean your database you can do that as well (Cleaning is a softer version of Optimizing).
You have the option to select whether you wish to view money display in text or graphic format. ItemSync stores the information of both vendor prices and sell prices. It will also display both accordingly.
You betcha! Auctioneer, Reagent Info, AxuItemMenus, and AuctionMatrix are but just a few that ItemSync supports. Options are available to you to turn on and off data transmition to these mods.
No! You should never ever be disconnected by linking an item. ItemSync will only show you a list of items of which are valid currently by the server. You should only get disconnections if you have tampered with the ItemSync database. Something I highly suggest you don't do.
Yes, just select the option to merge the database across servers in the options panel. If this option is not selected, then it will split items into different server lists and you will only be able to see the items you have collected on that particular server.
Yes you can! Just use the converter found at:

FAQ:
>>>Leialyn Explanation on how ItemSync invalid parsing works:
I guess Itemsync determines if an Item is Invalid by checking your local database of stored Items.
If you got Items in your database that do exist on the server then they can become valid by retrieving the ItemTooltip from the Server.
If you got some Items in your database that do not exist on the server and you try to retrieve the Item Tooltip then you get a disconnect.
E.G: I'm playing Alliance and wanted to have the Shaman T2 set in my database. So I added the ids Manually (from ItemSet.dbc). When I logged in all of them were invalid cause I had never seen them.
Then I tried to retrieve the ItemToolTip (with a /script Command) and I got all in the Itemsync database except the breastplate wich means there was no ten storms breastplate drop on our server and I got disconnected from server if I wanted to view the Breastplate Tooltip.
A few days later I saw a shaman wearing this thing so it was in my local database and Itemsync changed the Item into beeing valid.
(Note from Derkyle: What Leialyn said is exactly right. This is exactly how ItemSync functions. ItemSync will constantly monitor links and make corrections when nessasary. It will always provide you with the most valid itemid's it comes bye. Remember that ItemSync also plays around with ItemID's switching numbers around and such to produce a valid id. This is one feature of ItemSync that seperates it from the other gatherers.)
>>>Why does Auctioneer data keep showing up more then once:
This is because you have EMBED ON. Basically EnhTooltip is bugged and won't allow other mods to hook into tooltip functions. If a mod tries to access tooltip functions then EnhTooltip doesn't know when to stop sending data. Therefore it repeats over and over and over again. I've already sent a request for a fix to EnhTooltip. I even did the work for them and sent them exactly 3 lines of code to fix it.
You can download the fixed version of EnhTooltip in the DevZone below until they release the fix.
>>>Why do many of my items become invalid after a patch:
Basically, blizzard has put a foot down on item farming or parsing and has made it clear that only items users have seen can be stored or linked. This means that -UNTIL- the server has SEEN the item either in someones inventory or they are wearing it, it will remain invalid. Once someone on the server whom has the actual items logs in it then becomes valid for all the people whom use LootLink and ItemSync. There is no way around this and KC_Items/LootLink/ItemSync suffer the same problem.
So lets recap: You had 16,000 items in ItemSync but 5,000 of them became invalid. Those 5,000 are marked as invalid because the server hasn't seen them yet. Once someone whom actually has the item logs in then everyone whom has it on KC_Items/LootLink/ItemSync will get it marked as valid next time they login.
Folks! Please be patient! It takes about 3 or 4 days after a patch to get all your items back. Yes you can try to forcefully get them from the server and yes you can try to do my invalid check. However, the majority of the time you will disconnect and NOT ALL of your items will become valid no matter what you do. This is of course until the server has actually seen the item.
Please stop PM'ing me about those or sending me emails. This question has been asked so many times and yet no one takes the time to read. This is a problem that plagues ANY item collection program. Unforantely it's the way it is and you have to just use what you got.
