Table of Contents

Create panels for customizing your UI, sucessor to eePanels

OnClick now provides a pressed and released variable you can check for.

if pressed then
  -- do mouse down actions
elseif released then
  -- do mouse up actions
end

This means your script will get called twice when someone clicks the panel.

Ive created an Example Texture Pack.

This example pack is just a template. If you want to use it as a storage spot for your art, look at the read me file for directions on usage.

Began Getting this error after updating to v1.5.1 anytime I try to add a texture to a panel and nothing else in my settings have changed. My existing backgrounds/borders also disappeared on characters I did not even attempt to change/add panels to their UI.

After updating my prior panels are gone, and I cannot bring up the UI configuration screen. Any fix incoming or user solutions?

same here...all my custom textures are gone after I updated to 1.4

I tried reverting to 1.38 but it's still fuct

After the latest patch i can't access the configure UI in anyway, the addon is loaded and some parts of the layout i've made.. No idea what've happend :S

you can still anchor it there, just reset the offsets lower

Now that ChatFrame1 starts all the way up by the new social-button. What do i anchor my panel to for it to fit my chatframe?

Greetings,
Awesome add-on and thanks for maintaining and updating it but ever since I updated it earlier today I have a huge problem with fps.
I usually have an average of 80 fps in game and when I tried to log in today I was constantly at 3 fps (while in an empty Thunderbluff).So I started disabling and enabling addons one by one and the culprit was kgpanels.
I'm really not sure why this could have happened so any suggestion or question is welcome.Thank you in advance.

I have what I imagine is probably a pretty simple question - for some reason when I create a new panel (i.e one for my action bars) the original panel I had made for my chat box disappears - they are named different things, so I'm not sure if that's the issue. I read through the FAQ but couldn't find anything about that. Thanks.

Hello Great AddOn, By chance is there a way to format the numbers you get from GetSpellCritChance()?

Would like to only show up to 2Decimal places.

Do not go to this guys site. He has the same post on lots of popular mods trying to make ppl think the author made this "auto mining addon" I personally think its a keylogger site or other kind of nasty site

It's easier if you just parent/attach the Panel on Omen and then config Omen for the situations.

Parent it to "OmenBarList". Works well.

Is there any other file types that kgpanels supports.. the only one I know of is .TGA which alot of new software doesn't support anymore IE Photoshop CS4.. I've tried .PNG and I've had no luck.

Hello all. I made a panel for omen for example. I want it to be shown in raid and party and not to be shown on Battleground. I use this script, but what i have to add to hide panel on BG ?

In each Panel set the OnLoad script 
 self:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD")
 self:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED")
 self:RegisterEvent("RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE")

Then in each Panel OnEvent script: 
 local pmems = GetNumPartyMembers()
 local rmems = GetNumRaidMembers()
 if (pmems < 1 and rmems < 1) or (pmems > 0 and pmems < 6 and rmems < 6) then
    self:Hide()
 else
    self:Show()
 end

Aloha Kagaro!
Simple and short question:
Is there a function to make the panels remember their old alpha-level/hide-show-status?
Because i managed to attach 7 panels with a hide/Show-Button and i want the hidden ones to be hidden again when i log in.
Anything in mind?
