A smart and simple buff notification addon-on. When u gain Hot Streak, Brain Freeze & MissleBarrage proc, displays a flashing fullscreen-effect and plays a sound

Never miss the instant pyroblast, fireball or Missle Barrage

Displays Arcanblast debuff as Combo Points (Rogue or Cat like) [Only in v1.3 alpha]

Commands:

/magealert - commandlist

/magealert flash on/off" - disable/enable flashing fullscreen effect

/magealert sound on/off" - disable/enable sound notification

/magealert fofsound on/off" - disable/enable Fingers of Frost sound notification

Support for all locations in current release !

Only sheeps are prettier!

copy the magealert sound to proculas dir

ingame: click the proculas icon on your minimap then sound setting then Name = HotStreak (click add) Path = Interface\\AddOns\\Proculas\\hotstreak.mp3

then select your proc @ proc setting enable ther sound on the bottem of the site and select hotsteak
ready für use :)

Very sorry to see you not continuing this excellent mod. My wife and I have both used it and think it's a must have. Will try Proculas.

can you make one for the new impact proc for fire this is my favorite mod just the way it is i know how to change sounds but i like them so left them alone i would like to get impact proc notification though.

i know we can replace the mp3s, but would it be out of line to request different soundpacks? im sure someone has a nicely done theme out there that could contribute. im running a female draenei, so hearing a male undead slowly and sinisterly grumble proc names just makes me giggle uncontrollably. im thinking maybe something around the lines of including race+gender oriented soundpacks. i know its a bit much to ask after all the lua5, but it would certainly make my day :) plus im sure other races/gender combos would love to hear something simular to what they normally hear while playing (with the sound on since sometimes the mute is necessary). i know some gnomes that would get a kick out of hearing a gnome-ish voice lol. anyways, just a thought.

dont know how useful this is, but i found out how to get into the mpq files to nab out the wav files for all speech in game. everything from character to npc to bosses. im gonna poke around character a bit and see if anything would work well with my toon and see if other races+gender reflect in the same aspect. who knows, maybe ill be the first to add a soundpack >.<

After i installed Magealert i can't use Conjure Managem anymore. It gives the message : tried to enchant an object that does not exist.
I deleted all my addons but it wont work again. Did you hear about this fault befoe?

This is the best mod for mages. Everyone in my guild loves it.
I only have one question:
Why can't there be an option to have a female voice?

a mage friend in my guild has made the file and put a lot of work inside. I think that's great they have become

let your girlfriend speak the voice file :P save it to hotstreak.mp3 .... or other filename inside /magealert/sound/

it's easy to replace my mp3 file with yours

Cool tip: If you forget the commands, you can type /magealert to see the list! I bet this is known already, but just sharing.

**Red Bug of Death**

On my fire mage, got a nice bug today. When I got a hot streak my screen stayed completely red. Even if I ported or recalled it still stayed red. I had to log out of the char and back in to fix the problem. Using ver. 1.0b which is the current. Can provide a pic if you need to see the problem but the screen is pretty much ALL RED :O

What is the hot streak, I am new to the mage currently a level 22. I am building a fire mage. Any suggestions on rotation of spells as well. Thanks!!!

Hot Streak: Any time you score 2 spell criticals in a row using fireball, fireblast, scorch, livingbomb or frostfire bolt, you have a 33%/66%/100% chance the next pyroblast spell cast within 10 sec will be instnat cast

is one of the 3 40er talents in the fire tree. You need lvl 50!!!

rota @ lvl 22 .... hmmm .... fireball spam ? protect you with Frost Nova or sheep .....
