Addon Description Magic Runes is a set of bars displaying rune cooldowns. It's meant as either a replacement or addition to the normal Blizzard rune display.
I have tried ever slash command I can think of to open up the config window for Magic Runes and NOTHING works. No error message, just no response. Does anyone know what the command is (/magicrunes) to open up the config GUI if there is one, or to show the list of options that are open for the program?
Nice working on making the saved variables stay saved. Only issue i have now is the one i mentioned before where the edge border colour is not changing. You move the sliders to change the brightness and the fade, but as soon as you say ok, they revert back to the defaults again.
Same here, I been trying different methods of picking profiles so maybe one of them will save, and I won't have to do a full config every time I log on; but no luck. Still resets to defualt config every time I log =(
I will try to check this out tonight- last night was a mad rush to get addons working before the raid and help others with their issues. I'll fix it, don't worry. Might take a few more days though.
Still getting an error with it not saving the layout when you change it and it reverting back to original icon display, also I am finding that although you can change the border type in options, it will not allow you to change the colour even though it gives the impression that it does. when you go back to the colour of the border its the original colour again even before exiting the game.
I'll definitely investigate this but I can't promise any real fixes until Friday unless it's something obvious. With Ulduar out, I'm back on a 3x4 raiding schedule.

There seems to be a problem with my settings. Whenever I have finished configuring the layout, it will always switch back to an old layout after I relog. Is this a known issue?
Two people with settings issues - did this start recently and if you download an older version is it still broken? It should work fine so I'm not sure what's up. Works for me I should say. It's possible the permissions on:
WoW/WTF/Account/<Account name>/SavedVariables/MagicRunes.lua causes it to fail to be saved - after logging out can you open that file and see if it has any data in it?
I installed MagicRunes about 3 days ago, with the r55 version. Since then the problem has been persistent. It seems it keeps loading settings from my first configuration, but without proper scaling. My current version is up-to-date (r58).
I checked the permissions on the lua file, that's all correct (I am logged in as admin on windows and it's not read-only). I can't paste the lua file here, it's 1116 lines long.
Great addon, I just have one problem with it. Whenever I log out of the game and log back in, Magic Runes resets to the default positions, and I have to re-adjust all the bars each time. Is there a way to fix that?
You've got a lot of options here, but I really feel like being able to change the alpha of the background for the icons, based on combat or non combat, is missing.
I like to set my out of combat alpha level to low or completely invisible, but when they're visible I can't stand looking at them without a background. So I'm stuck between having a black background border there all the time and being able to look at the runes, or not having any border (0 alpha setting) and feeling like its all wrong. It's be great if you could set the "Out of combat alpha" to also effect the background frame for the icon display.

If I could make a suggestion for a new feature. I would like to see a timer for Ghoul Frenzy on your pet.
