MalygosHelper

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Malygos Helper is quite simply a small mod to monitor the dot stacking, combos and damage of everyone in the raid during phase 3 of the Malygos encounter.

I'll do some screenshots next time we run Malygos, but it's quite simple. 1 Bar per person, with their name and dot stack. Bars will fade off as their dot expires.

You do not need everyone to run this mod.

This no longer works as of 3.1. It no longer can tell whose stack is whose and as a result the stacks "jump" from player to player.

How the addon looks like since no image up yet. Would it be possible to change it so that it doesn't disappear once the encounter is over? Would be nice to take a quick look at the list before zoning out.

hey
MalyHelper most of the tries does not start for me when entering the 3rd phase. could be an issue when it does not disable itself on a wipe and when we run back and start maly again it does not reset properly and wont show up its window when 3rd phase starts again.
Any idea?

Would love this mod to report right now im using MalygosFlamer.

MalygosFlamer - is the closest to reporting i have found, tho it only reports who drop stacks, not how many ppl reach or dps etc.

Only for your own stacks and stuff but verry clean, shows combo points, stacks, time bar till stacks drop, energy etc its verry clean.

Being a raid leader i use all 3 to monitor how im doing, every one else during fight, then see report (in raid chat) to who drop stacks and how many times.

Cant fail macro's (for noobs)

Was doing EoE in 10 man last night, and a friend pointed out that he thinks the reason the stack counts on the bars get messed up is likely down to the DoT timer being wrong in some cases, if people are using 2 combos and then 1 on the odd occasion or whatever. No idea if that is the case, but worth considering.

This seems a little buggy since i started trying it a few days ago. I've seen players stack fluctuate randomly at times. It generally seems fine for a while at the start of phase 3, but then I've seen things like my stack go from 20, then the timer go down to nothing for ages even though im casting Engulf, the stack then change to 1 then suddenly up to 12, down to 6 and stuff like that. Also seen other peoples stacks jump up or down suddenly, it seems like the stacks are getting incorrectly assigned or switched around.

Without that, the mod would be very useful to me. As mentioned by other people it would be great to be able to look over the results after the fight has ended though, such as each players maximum stack size and how many times they lost their stack.

would like to see it save a report so we can post it in our forum to let people know who was slacking. Or at least be able to spam the totals to a channel at the end of the fight.

whats the chance of not clearing people when they die? right now as people die it clears them before you can see what they did.

In reply to my error report, I've found the non compatible addon. It was AttackSpeed, a rather outdated but still working addon to display your current attack speed (melee).
After updating all my (available) addons with the curse updater (what a masterpiece of crapload...), it was still not working, so I messed with my addons until I found the cause.

Working fine now (and is movable via FluidFrames: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7080-FluidFrames.html )

Using r6, bars appeared in lower middle of screen on Maly25. Couldn't figure out any way to move them - tried left clicking with and without various modifiers, nothing worked.

Using r6, bars appeared in lower middle of screen on Maly25. Couldn't figure out any way to move them - tried left clicking with and without various modifiers, nothing worked.
Edit: For anyone interested, I contacted Zeksie and was informed that you can only drag by the topmost bar.
