About MaterialsTracker

This added was originally created by Shamino but was not updated since Draenor era.

MaterialsTracker will keep track of the materials required for your known professions, and keep counts on what are in your bags, banks, guild banks and mailbox on all of your toons. Simply hover over an item, and if it's being tracked, counts will be shown in the tooltip.

This was inspired by Shamino's other addon EnchantingSeller, which has this functionality built-in, however only for the Enchanting profession.

Tooltip

The tooltip will tell you...

1. how many on you
2. how many in bank
3. how many in your mailbox
4. how many on other toons
5. how many in your guild banks

Usage

These steps should be completed for each character:

1. Open each tradeskill and craft frames. MaterialsTracker will record all the materials for the profession. Please, close each window after few seconds, not reopen another trade skill instead.
2. Visit the bank. MaterialsTracker will record counts of materials stored there.
3. Update your bags. Just move an item in your bags. MaterialsTracker will record counts of materials stored there.
4. Visit your mailbox
5. Visit the guild bank. MaterialsTracker will record counts of materials stored there.

Partially fixed issues with 10.0.2. Crafting window still generetaes errors, it has been reworked by Blizzard lately. Work in progress.

I have made it to work just fine with retail 9.2.5. There are some issues with releasing it here, working on that.

- added a wait period before it scans for tradeskill items to reduce game freezing.
- added combat check, to avoid scanning while in combat.

mtracker doesn't work properly anymore since i changed server. everything but whats on my twink's guild bank shows up properly. unfortunately i really need to know what exactly is on this bank to keep things tidy.

so its just what is on your twinks guild bank that does not show up? Did you move all of your toons to a different server? You may also have to relearn everything, since MT stores information based on your toons realm and character name.

Very nice addon
I recently deleted my saved variables and now when i goto use mat tracker it only shows cloth and only 4 of them. whats happend?

you basically need to relearn everything that you've saved previously if you deleted you SV file. start by opening all your profession windows, then open your bank and move something around, it should recount everything.

I love this addon! I'm in the process of updating my toons and manually adding Abyss Crystals and the like.

One feature I'd love to see...
1. For 'On Toons' it would be great to have a break down of which toons have the mats. Granted I'll probably just consolidate to save bag space but it would be nice.

you can actually use a slash command to find this information. I chose not to include it in the tooltip, since the tooltip could become quite large, depending on how many toons you have.

have you located a problem with this addon? I have not updated it for 3.1, since it does not require nay updates. I am using this with success currently.

MY PC Died, and Im on my computer from work, it works fine here?! I have a Mac Mini on the way so hopefully it works there too. not sure what was up with my old machine, its a POS I guess.
