Blizzard just announced that they will be hotfixing so this add-on will not work no more...

Give the proper information friend...
''However, in that same hotfix, we will also be raising the hard cap on camera zoom to a midway point between what was possible prior to 7.0, and what is possible through the in-game interface options. This increased cap will allow power users to once again be able to extend their camera distance via a console command, should they so desire. The choice of the new max was informed by reports from players regarding what zoom distance eased the discomfort they were experiencing. Ultimately, we would prefer to address the underlying issues rather than relying on increased zoom to mask those issues, but now that patch 7.0.3 is live and we cannot properly iterate on the sort of changes that would be required, reapplying the band-aid is preferable to leaving an open wound.''
Since version 2.0 of MaxCam I am not abble to go further than 39 Camera distance and I used to be able to go to 1000 before why? how to fix?
Because Blizzard fixed it.
There is a problem: When i zoom out to 39.0 and i want to zoom in than its locked at 28.5 again.
Are you using AdvancedInterfaceOptions? I recently talked with the authors and they keep overriding both the Blizzard and MaxCam distance slider
You would have to change the max distance slider from the AdvancedInterfaceOptions slider instead
Not sure how to handle this, since any addon that wants to change that cvar will keep overriding each other. A solution could be to just set it after a delay (or hook any SetCVar calls) if MaxCam wants to override them instead
Another addon that sets it and the Zoom Speed is DynamicCam, which is way more advanced and features "reactive zoom"
It's better to disable MaxCam to avoid any weird cvar/options behavior when using DynamicCam
Not using AdvancedInterfaceOptions and also not using DynamicCam. Not sure whats screwing with the addon...
I fixed the problem: Without the addon the blizz max camera distance slider is max at 28.5. So when i turned the addon on again i needed to go to the blizzard max camera distance slider and put the blizzard slider up to 39.0 and after that i turned on 39.0 in the addon and now it is both at 39.0 so it does not reset to 28.5 again because of the blizzard max camera distance slider.
So I don't really understand why MaxCam would still reset back to 28.5 for you because of the blizzard slider :(
(Edit 8/23) There indeed was a bug when setting it through the Blizzard options instead of the /mc slash command, sorry for not acknowledging the problem earlier. This should be fixed in v2.1.0
Hum the camera is still too close now like before. It's disappointing. The last camera is far better than this.
Thank you for updating this addon. I'm over the moon that I won't have to input that command each time. It was driving me bananas, even with a macro. Appreciate it!
Seems to me the game auto-disables this addon, even after the update.
If you are running MaxCam v2.0 and FasterCamera, then MaxCam will also disable itself, since they are the same addon
Otherwise I don't know why it would be disabled
I don't understand, it still works for me? Not that I'm complaining!!
MaxCam now is a copy of FasterCamera which was updated for cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6
I was thinking to let it die, but maybe this was the easiest way to keep everyone updated for the new console command (which was defaulting/capping back to 1.9 on relog/reload)
Addon has now been disabled on live, since Blizzard fixed the bug it the addon used.
To set your camera at further distance now than settings allow you, use:
/console cameraDistanceMaxFactor 2.6
-With thanks to Alexht-
Or use the Maxcam 2.0 version that Ketho just uploaded, thank you :D
fuck. Doesnt work anymore ㅠ_ㅠ
