MorgDKP2
MorgDKP2 is a full featured mod that allows the master looter (ML) to control the loot distribution process. Only one member is required to have this mod. MorgDKP2 is also capable of tracking DKP and outputting the DKP string for import into eqDKP using a custom php import script.

Video Tutorial
BlueWarlord has created a video tutorial for setting up and using the MorgDKP2 system to run a raid. Find it here.
BlueWarlord created another video tutorial for setting up and using MorgDKP2 with eqdkp/eqdkp+. Find it here.
Thanks BlueWarlord!
phpRaid Integration
If you use eqdkp+ for setting up raids you can export the raid attendees (choose lua format) and save the file to the MorgDKP2 folder. When you open the invite list (shift-click) the day of a scheduled raid the phpRaid data will pop open in its own frame.
ClassLoot Integration
If you have ClassLoot (r98 or higher) running as well as MorgDKP2 when a new item drops the classes/altclasses allowed to bid for the item will automatically be filled in if the item is in ClassLoot's database. Only if the classes are NOT already set. Thanks Pneumatis for allowing me to hook your DB:)
Importable item database
There is now and item DB included in the ImportItemDB folder of MorgDKP2. It has as many Northrend raid items I have seen so far with classes set. To import it copy the file to the main MorgDKP2 directory and load WoW. Once imported delete the file from the main directory. Note it will not overwrite any items you already have set.
Using MorgDKP2:
Basic use is identical to MorgDKP. Documentation for setting up the web scripts etc still applies. Will post more information when I have time.
Suggested to start:
- Install the webscripts to the plugins folder of your eqdkp install and install it through the admin plugin menu
- Export your DKP from the website save in MorgDKP2 folder (even if your database currently has no members!)
- Enter WoW and make sure there are no errors
- Track your raid etc
- Click export raid(s) and copy the string
- Click Import raids on the admin panel of edkp and paste the string into the window
- Win!
Webscript help
Export standings
Used to export member DKP, events, aliases, and database information (needed for proper import) to the in game mod. Access through the eqdkp admin menu (after installing plugin)
- Select your game timezone (may not match your actual timezone)
- Select if you want to export member ranks
- Ignore ranks - do not export ranks and hence do not use rank sorting for item rolls
- Use all ranks - export all ranks for all members and use rank sorting for item rolls (only way to activate rank sorting)
- Only export [rank] - only export the selected rank from the website. Caution will only export members of that rank so any unranked members or members of different rank will not be in the file.
- Enter the directory and in game name for up to 5 eqdkp installs (ie if your website is http://sodalityoftheconstant.com/aqdkp/listmembers.php? then you would enter aqdkp and whatever name you want it called in game.)
- For eqdkp+ multiple pool install only enter the main directory name the pool names will be your actual pool names
- For installs in base directory (ie http://eqdkptest.sodalityoftheconstant.com) enter - for the directory name
- Click export
- Right click the link and choose save as .. save in WOW/Interface/Addons/MorgDKP2 directory.
- Load into WoW or reloadui if already in game.
Import raids
Used to import raids recorded with the MorgDKP2 in game mod. Click export raids in the LDB tooltip or export raid in the raidtracker for a single raid. Copy the DKP string (Ctrl-C) and paste it into the editbox. When editing names or adding people you do not need to capitalize them.
- Click parse DKP string
- Check the data and make sure the import looks correct:
- If you have any aliases to import they will be shown with ADD beside them. To not import the alias simply erase the editbox.
- If you have any DKP changes they will be listed. As above erase the value or the names to not import. Can add/remove names as well.
- For each event the name, note, value, attendees, and any items will be shown. Edit them if necessary. To not import a whole event (including items) erase it's name. Erase and item or item value to not import the item.
- If you are using zerosum or skall with zerosum check the use zerosum checkbox.
- Click enter final data:)
Note: - Ranks will only be used in sorting if you export all ranks and set the weight of each rank in the in game options (database options) Higher values should be higher ranks. Also rank sorting is ONLY used on the lootframe rolling window. It is not used anywhere else such as the MorgBid2 check or raid invite tab. This means that the MorgBid2 results frame may show a different winner.
Loot window help:
Here is how the loot window is designed to work for those having trouble understanding it. When you loot a corpse if any items are above the loot threshold the mod will:
- Check each item and if any have not had their classes set (who gets to roll for the item) it will automatically open the item edit page to that item. This takes priority over all other possibilites. ie You edit this item and start the roll for it. The mod checks again and there is still another item with its classes unset so it opens the item edit page for that 2nd item NOT the roll window for the auction you started. If you want to see the roll window simply right click on the 1st item again.
- If no items have unset classes the mod next checks if any items are currently in auction. If so it opens: roll summary window if more than 1 item being rolled for or the single item roll window if only 1 item.
- If none of above conditions apply no window automatically opens (ie not roll window or item edit window) and you can right click any item to open edit window (or roll window if auction started) or alt-right click any item to start ALL queries which will cause the roll summary window to open.
Note: - If you want to use MorgDKP2 with fubar you need to have Broker2Fubar installed or it will only show a minimap icon.
Whisper commands: - whispered to someone running morgdkp2.
Waitlist
mbid wait[+/-] [main] => main only necessary if you are whispering from an unknown alt
Bidding
mbid itemid/itemlink [need/take/pass/offspec] [bid] => itemid/link must be included - bid only for BidWar
Dkp queries
dkplist [pool/s] [class/all] [class] ... => pools only if you want to see what pools are available. pool to get the dkp for that pool (leave out for default pool). all for all members in the raid (if person running morgdkp2 is in a raid), guild otherwise. You own class is automatically included so a pally whispering dkplist rogue will get paladin and rogue.
Webscript note: - The MorgDKP2 webscript requires:PHP 5.2.3 or greater and MySQL 5.0.7 or greater. If you are having issues with special characters make sure your MYSQL database is in UTF-8.
Supported DKP modules:
- Fixed DKP
- Zerosum DKP
- Percent DKP
- Relational DKP
- Random
- SKall
- TakeBid
- BidWar
Syncing:
Options
- Broadcast - enable to send sync messages out during a raid to registered listeners. Usually one person will probably broadcast to the backup people in the raid but you can have more than one broadcaster.
- Receive - enable so your mod will act as a listener and receive syncing events from MorgDKP2 installs which are broadcasting.
- Overwrite raid - enable to overwrite the current raid with the new raid info (in the initial sync) if you have already started a raid. Useful when you zone in to the instance late after raid is already in progress to get the raidlog from the whole run. If you haven't started a raid overwrite is done by default.
- Manual Syncs - ie Sync options/members/items/all/initial sync. Click one of these buttons to manually sync to the current raid.
Sync Details
- Syncing will not be enabled until a raid has started and then the mod will check for sync necessity every 60s.
- When the raid starts or someone joins the raid with receive enabled the broadcaster will send out his eqdkp data (boss events/values, aliases, current pool, certain options, current raid data, and current member DKP) Current member DKP will only be updated in the listener client if it has a newer timestamp or if they are members of your current raid. The broadcasters current raid will overwrite the receivers current raid unless Overwrite raid is off.
- When you make changes to important values the mod will schedule a sync and send those changes to the listeners throughout the raid.
What is synced?
- item database changes (value/classes)
- raid tracker changes to items (value/winner/event)
- custom events
- event changes (value/name/note/deletion)
- alias additions
- BOE items (ie hand out through your inventory and manually trade)
- DKP change events
- item costs different from actual DB cost (ie TakeBid or offspec auctions)
- items incorrectly assigned to ML/DE in listener client
- full current raid sync
- initial waitlist and waitlist changes
NOTE: - There is generally no need for the manual syncs unless you specifically want to transfer the complete itemDB or the listener wants ALL of your MorgDKP2 options. The complete member DKP and necessary options are transferred when the initial sync is sent at the start of the raid (if you have Broadcast enabled and there are listeners present in the raid)

I loot boss. It opens up the lootframe. I rightclick on loot to open the classes window. Assign clases, hit the dice. People hit their respective buttons. At this point I call out the winner, and left click in the lootframe the proper person. It calls it out in raid chat that this person won for 160dkp, and brings up the blizzard yes/no loot confirmation. I click yes, and nothing happens.
At this point I use the blizzard window, give out the loot and morgdkp2 then deducts that persons points.
Like I said, alot of the time I somehow got off the boss and simply relooting it fixes it.
So when you say cannot give out with the lootframe period does that mean when you left click the item the ML menu does not come up? If so there really should be an error unless you are NOT looting.
Fixed that change event note bug and another minor change to webscript.
@morgalm - Typically when I run into the problem of loot not being handed out it is because somehow I moved and lost the true loot window. Usually re-looting the boss fixes that.
When I cannot give out loot with Morgdkp2, I cannot give loot out with the lootframe period. This is why I keep the blizzard window up, because if I use the blizzard window it gives out the loot and morgdkp2 catches it and calculates it.
Now that is just how I have been dealing with it. I have not sat down and tested wether it is me moving somehow or how I am losing the loot window. Everything still looks the same, just somehow I cannot use the addon anymore to pass it out. I have tried my best to make sure I dont hit any arrow keys or move in anyway while looting. The members who want loot stay close, so not exactly sure why it happens. I just know using the blizzard window as a backup makes it easier for me. If I got up and relooted the boss that usually will fix it also.
To me it isnt an issue, since I can just use the default loot window as a backup. Since it doesnt happen all that often.
Hmmm yeah never thought of that Sarothe but good point. You can change the event but you can't change the note or the items dissapear but ill see what I can do about it.
@azphat - DKP isn't deducted until the item is looted so thats normal. Your absolutely sure you were still looting as well? :P Have you ever run exclusively using the morgdkp lootframe? (ie replace blizzard option) Just wondering if it is something with not using the lootframe. Also if it doesn't hand out the item when you click the results why can't you use the morgdkp lootframe and click the item which bring up the ML menu and you choose who it goes to? You saying that doesn't work either?
Morgalm -> Last night I changed the Event in raidtracker for a boss kill. It was really just renaming the kill to what I want it to be called in eqdkp+. After changing the event all the loot from that event disappeared from raid tracker. Changing it back to the original event name restored the loot. Would it be possible to code it so that renaming the event retained the loot from that event?
S.
Yes Morgalm, we get the blizzard popup confirming giving the item to the player. Once you click "yes" nothing happens. The loot doesnt actually go. Now I also noticed that the DKP isnt changed either, it just "says" so and so is charged ?dkp for item.
This is where I keep the Blizzard loot window open at the same time as Morgdkp2. If this scenario happens, I just go to the Blizzard loot window and pass the loot out that way. Which then passes out the loot and charges the DKP.
Sometimes leaving the boss, and re looting also fixes it. But sometimes it doesnt.
Do you get the popup asking if you want to give item x to player y as well?
Sorry I wasn't clear enough about the chests, Morg.
My problem with them has *NOTHING* to do with addons. It's Blizzard making chests be looted one person at a time instead of the way mobs are looted for emblems, etc. I'll make sure to pull your trick for future chests to start bidding while people are looting the chest.
I like the fading when not looting. GREAT idea!
As for the looting trouble, it's *really* strange. I get no errors, no warnings, nothing. MorgDKP says that it's handing item X to player Y for Z DKP, but there's no message from the game saying that player Y got item X, and the item is still on the corpse (or chest) and not in the player's inventory.
So far as I know I have no mods that affect looting in any way, other than these two (MorgDKP/MorgBid). I've filed a few tickets recently which list all my addons, maybe you'll see something there I don't.
I had problems handing out recipes Thursday night, which we figured out was something refusing to hand them to people who didn't have the skill, even though at least one of them was a BoE recipe, it worked to hand to the leatherworker, but not the person I tried to give it to first. But the looting problems with the chest were definitely not because it couldn't be used. One was giving Mantle of the Corrupted (a cloth shoulder) to a Boomkin, and the other was Breastplate of the Lost Conqueror to myself (pally).
ok i've send i to you
Send me the DKPInfo file and also check it to ensure it is in utf8 format.
Man I really like that lower alpha when you arent looting the boss if I don;t say so myself:P
Ok i have something new for you morg :)
When i export the DKPInfo.lua out of my new eqdkp+ system, charakter names with special letter won't show up correctly ingame.
When i export it out of my old system it works fine.
But when you take a look into the dkpinfo.lua everything seems to be fine. All names etc. are correct. It's just ingame.
Ok added an alpha change if you aren't still looting the mob the alpha will fade to grey. Should help:) Also you can set OFFSPEC/TAKE to 0 if you want to disable one of them. (ie want all take's at 25 DKP but offspec full price)
Would really like to be able to nail down what the issue is with people having trouble looting items. I NEVER have any problem and I run with morgdkp2 frame always enabled. If it isn't handing the item out is there an error? Are you using any other addons that replace the loot window (ie xloot) or change the ML menu in ANY way?
What problem with chests?
Yeah the little circle icon will end any auction AND close all morgbid popups. Yes if you move and loot doesnt get handed out there really isn't anyway for me to show that unless I spam something everytime the loot window closes which would just be annoying. If there really is some problem with chests I need the error. For chests I tell people to let me in first and I go in long enough for the items to pop up then I can assign values/classes etc while I am NOT looting and do the rolls while everyone else loots. Then I just loot again and hand the items out to the winners. If they try go in before you...YELL at them:P
And yes any loot you get (even if you won it) is recorded as DE if ML/DE mode is on UNLESS you award it to yourself by clicking your name on the item roll frame. There is special code to then tell the mod you really are supposed to be charged for that item.
Oh yeah and web version 2 is up. I rewrote the xml parser so it should fix the blank screen hangs. Tested on 3 installs one out of date so that should do it I hope...grrr.
Oh yea, version 1.8 (actually I think I had 1.5 on there) of the webscript was working and I left it alone. When I was doing the import you change the 1.9, 1.5 or whatever it was in the parse to 1.8 (or whatever webscript version) and the script will accept it.
However if updating to 1.9 works, then cool.
I always loot with the default Blizzard window open AND Morgdkp2. This way you can set the items DKP, and if something goes haywire you can use the Blizzard frame to hand it out without shutting anything off. Not sure if this works on the Horsemen since there were issues with "chest" items.
Morgdkp2 uses CTRT alias information. Simply open op CTRT Config in eqdkp+, and on the menu bar all the way to the right is Alias. Set them in there. If it was Phrostfire "or any current member" go to eqdkp+ and do Manage Members. Then go to Transfer member history. Type in the new name and all of Phrostfires dkp, items, info etc will go to Kurosan. The you would do the alias after that so it knows Phrostfire is an alias of Kurosan etc.
A bunch of comments from my first real run as Master Looter. Most of these are user error. Dunno if there's a way to improve the interface or documentation or what. Odds are I just needed to spend more time getting familiar with it.
MorgDKP2 2.5 and MorgBid2 2.6. Military Wing of Naxx-25.
First I forgot to set the DKP item prices. DOH. Took me a bit to figure out how to cancel the bids and restart them. I also apparently failed the concept of "read the tooltips, dummy" since it took me a while to figure out that I should right-click on an item to get it to re-query.
Next problem I ran into was that I apparently stepped away from the boss or something. Couldn't distribute any loot for real, and the addon just stays there (as I think it should) but there was no indication that I couldn't actually pass out loot. Easily fixed once I started actually looting the boss again.
Second boss I had no trouble with. Woot!
Third boss was a big pain in the arse. First it was the bloody 4-Horseman chest. Took forever to wait for 24 other people to get their Emblems out. Can't you fix that? Sheesh! (Yeah, I know Blizzard needs to fix that, though I don't expect they ever will.)
Of the four items in the chest, the first one I handed out just fine. The second and third ones just weren't getting handed out. I stepped back, reopened the chest, nothing. Tried again with reopen, and was able to get the third item passed out. Tried everything I could think of to get the second and fourth items handed out, and finally turned off the addon lootframe, and was able to use blizzard's lootframe to hand out the 2nd and 4th items.
I was the designated DE'er. I took 3 items for disenchant. That worked great. Took one item offspec, and it correctly charged me 1/2 price DKP. The last item was the 4th one from the chest, which I had to give myself from the Blizzard loot frame. It wound up not charging me for it, treating it as a disenchant.
Then I couldn't import to EQDKP+. It was still running 1.8, but fortunately I have access to update the website, installed 1.9, and all the data imported properly.
We had one person change mains, and I'd already associated the new main as an alias for the old one. Over in EQDKP+ I was easily able to change the main's name, class, etc., but couldn't find any alias data. Changed it manually in MorgDKP2, but is there a place to muck with that in EQDKP?
Anyway, I'm not asking for any changes, just giving you some feedback from a n00b's point of view.
Yeah the whole point of the zero sum import system is that whatever items drop during an event are added up and the DKP is split between x members then that is the event value. Best way to do what you want is create another event worth 1 dkp with current attendees. ie shift click the new event on tooltip (or click and select boss name then shift click to record event)
And for when you arent in a raid it is designed to show all members the DB knows. You can either do as azphat says or delete members from the database (ctrl-click listdkp tab)
@musickeepsmegoing - I had an issue with non guild members being in my list. All I did was delete my dkpinfo.lua and reset player DB in morgdkp2. Then re exported a new copy of my dkpinfo.lua worked for me anyway.
As far as the 1dkp per boss + zerodkp, I dont know about that. I would imagine that 1 dkp per boss EXTRA would throw off the zerosum dkp system wouldnt it? Unless you where subtracting all those +1's from somewhere else to balance it. Im sure you are doing this but if you make an event in eqdkp+ called Boss Kill, it will show up in morgdkp2 when you do dkp changes.
Other then that I will leave it to the other guys, since I dont use that particular feature at all.
Heya,
Just a few things that i would like to know. First off, when I am out of a raid group and someone /w me dkplist, it for some reason returns players that are not in my guild or on our dkp website along with guildies. These are people who i have raided with in the past (ie TBC raids) in pug groups. I was wondering how i can stop this, as if someone would like to see all the guilds DKP (ie pally tank looking at other plate tanks' DKP) then it has to return hundreds of people's info, rather than the 50 odd in my guild. The second thing was to do with the way i award DKP. I currently use primarily a ZeroDKP system, with 1DKP earned per drop (and an item costs 10dkp in 10-man and 25dkp in 25-man), but i award 1 point per bosskill as well. Now when i import the file as ZeroDKP it will import fine, but will not include the 1DKP per boss down, even though the event value is set as '1'. At the moment i have been doing this manually by editing the events, but would love to know if there is a way to set it up to be automatic. The last thing is, how do i filter out the dkplist /w spam i get during the raids. I can download an addon to filter it seperatly, but hoped there was an option to just filter out the spam. Thanks in advance for your help, and keep up the good work :)

Sync and Documentation are already on your list.
I have not tried the waitlist options in awhile, but so far everything seems to be working.
The only feature I kind of wish existed was an easy way to rename buttons and/or their tooltips. If there was an option in morgdkp2 to change that, and it carried over to morgbid2 as people synced up to it or something. But that is no big deal, it is more of an OCD thing of mine to keep everything neat.
