OneBag3
OneBag3 is part of a long line of bag replacements for the default game bags that will combine all of your bags into one frame.
OneBag has a long history of minimalism and OneBag3 will continue to uphold the standard of easy of use and simplicity it's predecessors set. Like the earlier versions, OneBag3 will continue to offer powerful options for those who wish to delve a little deeper.
Also in the vein of earlier iterations I've kept to the philosophy of doing as little work as possible, as a result the code base is very small, and most of it is in the OneCore library. As of the time of writing there are only 268 lines of code unique to OneBag3, and only 1804 lines of code in OneCore itself. LoC is a horrible stat in general, but it's fun none the less, and I cheat horribly since I build off the powerful Ace3 libraries.

Bug Reports & Suggestions

I want to thank all the users who've been using OneBag and OneBank for so long.
I really hope this addon isn't abandoned :(
It's one of my favorite light weight addons and it almost always works after a patch.
Any thoughts on an update anytime soon? I'm getting the same errors as everyone else...
Getting these almost every day when trying to use an item in my inventory:
Date: 2013-03-14 18:33:29
ID: 1
Error occured in: AddOn: OneBag3
Count: 2
Message: Error: AddOn OneBag3 attempted to call a forbidden function (UseContainerItem()) from a tainted execution path.
Debug:
[C]: UseContainerItem()
..\FrameXML\ContainerFrame.lua:775: ContainerFrameItemButton_OnClick()
[string "*:OnClick"]:12:
[string "*:OnClick"]:1
Locals:
None
Just guessing, but it might be when right-clicking on an item in the bag when in combat.
heya.. so I have been getting this Error message at least once a day and its becoming quite tiresome as it happens in the middle of a dungeon when i need to use a potion and then of course you disable it and it reloads ui and you miss the fight or die.. so please any assistance would be greatly appreciated thanks
"Onebag3 has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable this addon and reload the UI"
Hi there! Long time user of OneBag/Bank-- to the point that I can't bear the thought of the vanilla UI bags. I'd like to say thank you so much!
Aside from praise, I'd really like to throw in my hat on the "Please add searching to Onebag" front. For a long time, I didn't think it was necessary, but when you've got one quest item in 100+ bag slots, it becomes a bit of a search. It would really, really make my day!
@shobits1
I totally agree on the search functionality. I love onebag, and begrudgingly am now using Bagnon, which I don't care for, only because of the search feature.
I would also very much like this.
3x [ADDON_ACTION_FORBIDDEN] AddOn "OneBag3" tried to call the protected function "UNKNOWN()".
!BugGrabber-r188\BugGrabber.lua:587: in function <!BugGrabber\BugGrabber.lua:587>

Hey! Dunno if it's a result of the mini-patch today (although it sounds strangely plausible given that they did something with item interactions) but now with OneBag, I'm finding that anytime I try to sell or even move something around in my (mega-)bag, it doesn't actually disappear or move until I close and re-open the bag.
Anyone else find this?
EDIT: Seems the problem was just me....hasn't happened again since.
Got this issue as well, no error pop out so not sure what Blizz broke.
I started having this problem today as well
I use Postal, Omen, Carbonite, DBM, onebank, just to name a few and carbonite and Onebag3 have been giving me the same issues mentioned above.
Hi there;
This just started today when I try to use an item (right click) in my inventory:
"Onebag3 has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI. You can disable this addon and reload the UI"
I hate to disable this, but I have't updated any other addons for a few days so I'm surprised this occured today. As assistance is greatly appreciated! :)
*edit*
Disregard, it mysteriously started working again. >.> Great addon though, thanks. It's one of my must haves because Blizzard bags are bad.
I just tested this locally and wasn't able to reproduce. Does it happen after a fresh login, or after certain activities?
Awesome, thanks for the update. If you find something specific that can cause it let me know and I'll look into fixing it. :)
Same bug happens to me on Pandaria whenever I try to use a quest item. So long as I don't use a quest item, the bags work fine. I'm not sure if this is happening when in combat or not, but it's happened every time I've tried to use a quest item out of my bags.
I do not currently have any "use" quest items to reproduce, next time I find one I will try it and see if it just pops up the taint error, or if bugsack collects an actual code bug...I'll post my results unless you've alredy found it by then.
I did try it with a quest item, but I've not been able to reproduce. Can I get an addon list?
I've not tried to reproduce while disabling my other addons, of which I have quite a few...I'd rather not be without my other addons. ;) I need to get to a quest that gives me another 'use' item so I can re-test.
Found another quest item, but this time there was no taint issue...I'll update if I can reproduce again.
