OneBag
NOTICE
<big>This version is no longer maintained! I'm working as fast as I can to get the new version to a better state but it does have base line functionality.
Check out the new true OneBag as it's being developed! </big>
END NOTICE
OneBag is a replacement for the default game bags that combines all the bags into one frame. There are already addons out there that do this, so why OneBag? Mainly because I wanted a simpler, more system-friendly bag. OneBag doesn't entirely rewrite the bag-handling interface like others do. It simply rearranges the bags into one and allows the default UI to continue managing the bag slots. This means that addons such as KC_Items, ItemSync, LootLink, and SellValue should be inherently supported. As long as an addon is compatible with the default game bags, it should work with OneBag. This was my goal, anyway. For my uses OneBag has succeeded. Hopefully you will have similar results.
Features
- Combines all your character bags into one.
- Customizable number of columns.
- Displays the total number of slots, by slots used and type. Types being that ammo, soul bags, and professions bags all get a seperate count.
- Inherent support for addons such as KC_Items, ItemSync, LootLink, and SellValue, with no need for special code.
- Color coded slots by item rarity or bag type.
- Will automatically open for you when you visit the auction house, bank, mailbox, merchant, or when entering a player trade.
- Customizable display of only certain bags, either but slot number, or by type.
- Gives you a bag bar for easy manipulation of your bags.
- You can mouseover the bags on the bar to highlight the slots from that bag. You can also lock this highlight by clicking.
- Customize the scale and alpha of the frame.
- Provides an easy to use graphical config menu.

I'm getting the greyed out error also, but only on my main character. All toons are using the addon of course, but onebag only errors on the main. I was hoping there was a new version available that fixes this as it only started with the last couple patches.
I get the greyed out issue too. Happens maybe once in 15 times I log on. I will try the /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() also and get back to you.
Are you planning on making a One Guild Bank for 2.3.0? Currently no mod support for that frame.
That sounds like the main Frame layer is being put in front the item Frames. Maybe a wrong call to a SetToplevel() or SetFrameStrata() or SetFrameLevel() function for the background after it was initially created.
Pinpointing it will be the hard problem. Also, if its a problem of some other mod maybe conflicting (changing the frame level) of OneBagFrame.
I thought I would look at using this instead of Bagnon, because bagnon has some issues. I was tooling around with this mod and have the following to report. This is for OneBag, OneBank, OneRing (not OneView).
1) The "Rarity Highlight" box is the wrong size compared to normal boxes for an item. Its 1 pixel short on top, and depending on its placement in the frame, it sometimes bleeds/blurs to 1.5 pixels. Its ugly whatever it is and should be fixed.
2) The color picker needs to have its strata set to top level so that it doesnt show up behind a bag/bank window.
3) The "Normal Item" box outlines need a bit of subdue, they are just as bright as the frame border, and aesthetically that makes it look too 'busy' for an inventory window.
4) The "Forward" selection, to unselect to have it sort items in reverse order, is only sorting the bags in reverse order, and not the items. For instance if you loot a new item, it shows up a few rows in the middle of inventory, as that is where Slot1 of Bag0 is. Instead a reverse sort should show slot 1 of bag 0 at the very bottom left item slot in the OneBag window. This issue exists in bagnon too, and I re-coded my version to sort properly.
5) The title bar of the windows is unaligned for the arrow button, title, menu button, and close button. Have them all aligned across would make it look cleaner. Then you could also reduce the wasted verticle space it has as well.
6) Cooldown timers do no update if you have the bag OPEN when you activate something with a cooldown timer. You must close the bag and reopen it for the effect to be seen.
6.5) Cooldown timer coloration is applied to the item border too, which looks odd.
7) Clicking on the keyring icon in the blizzard toolbar, makes the OneRing window show up dead center, despite being able to drag it around the screen, the position is never saved. Likewise with opening the OneRing from the OneBag window title bar (although this one is nicer handled as it places the OneRing in a none-center-screen location).
8) OneRing does not inherit the frame coloring as OneBag. Couldn't find any menu for OneRing to set the background color/alpha, so I figured it inherited that of OneBag.
Something I really like about OneBag, is that clicking on the keyring icon opens its own mini window. I wish I could have that for my Ammo/Soul bags, as those I never have 'shown' in the full inventory window. So, with your mod as it is now, in order to see/edit whats in my ammo/soul bags, I have to go show them, edit, then unshow them. Little more steps than needed, but it works.
Anyhow, its a nice mod. It has some quirks, which I hope you will work on. Will I choose this over Bagnon? Hard to say. They both have their pros/cons... neither of them doing everything correctly. However between ALL the inventory mods I have tried... OneBag and Bagnon are the best for what I want! Simplicity and ease of use is key!
Also 9) As tykjen mentioned... it would be nice to have some sort of checklist to say when OneBag is auto-opened. I prefer it not to show when I open auctionhouse, but like it when I open a crafting window. Or for tykjen, having it popup for everything is like annoying IE popups :D Bagnon has these options to select when it should show up or not... but it has issues with strata and popping the bag OVER the window you were opening! (grr).
my god..its worse than an IE popup. Isnt it possible to turn the autopopup OFF with onebag? everytime i trade, visit bank, visit ah, visit mail it always pops up.
please help
Is there any way to make the container frame look like Blizzards Std bag instead ?
Black Box issue:
I haven't been able to reproduce this nor has my wife, can those suffering from it confirm that it occures when onebag is the only addon enabled?
Tooltip issues:
These have been the result of addon incompatibilities with blizzards 2.2 changes. However OneBag's is fixed in the most recent updates.
Greyed Out Issues:
I've also been unable to replicate this one. I've suspected that it is due to an addon conflict but i'm not sure, next time this comes up do /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() when mousing over the grey area and tell me what it says.
Just disabled all of my mods except the OneBag suite, and I am still having problems with the "black box" issue.
I get the problem in both OneBag and OneBank. Odd thing is, in OneBank, sometimes it's only in the builtin bag, not in the additional bags.
When I run the command /print GetMouseFocus():GetName()
over a grayed out OneBag slot, I get "OneBagFrame"
over a grayed out OneBank slot, I get "OneBankFrame"
over a normal OneBag slot, I get "OneBag2Item13" for example
over a normal OneBank slot, I get "OneBank6Item3" for example
I have observed that running /reloadui fixes it, although sometimes it requires multiple reloads, and sometimes it doesn't fix everything.
i am using quite a few other addons so it's hard for me to find which one is causing the black box affect. I can tell you that the following procedure works for me to get rid of that affect.
1. type /ob standby (to disable)
2. type /reload gui
3. type /ob standby (to enable)
4. type /reload gui
this works for me almost all of the time.
if it doesn't work try this procedure
1. type /ob standby (to disable)
2. type /reload gui
3. restart wow
4. type /ob standby (to enable)
it should work. try combination so the following above and it should eventually turn back to normal (no greyed out boxes with no interaction)
good luck!
btw, absolutely the most important wow addon..thx kaelten!
Onebag is the only mod I am using at the moment to see if I had another mod that was conflicting with this tool tip issue. However I still can't hover over items and see the tool tip, its simply gone. Any ideas?
Updating MonkeyQwest corrected my Tooltip issue.
Will the black box problem be fixed, or is it time to find a different inventory addon instead?
The black box deal has gone away since the last version. The tooltip problem has also disappeared. A problem just showed up to day. The entire onebag window gets sort of grayed out and i can move the window around by clicking anywhere on it but I can't select or move any of the itmes in my bags as though it was disabled.
Wowecon now works with onebag. Wowecon fixed their mod.
Got the same black box problem as x3source described. Used BaudBag for a few days, but decided OneBag is much better :) Anyways, would love to see the black box issue fixed. It's really hard to play with it like that.
