Parrot
Floating Combat Text of awesomeness.
Displays Events from the combatlog (damage, healing, ...) as moving text and numbers across the Screen. It also supports various other Events (Loot, Cooldowns, ...). Further Parrot offers a Trigger-system to display Text and play sounds on certain predefined events (e.g. Nightfall for Warlocks).

FAQ
Q: "I created a custom Trigger doing <something>. Is it worthy to be in parrots default triggers?"
A: In many cases it is. If you want to contribute a custom trigger to be added to the default triggers, please post a ticket where you describe *exactly* how you set it up. I can't figure that out for every class and every spec.
Q: "Parrot is not showing heals, but it's enabled in the options"
A: Since 3.2 WoW displays every full overheal in the combatlog (even for HoTs). That's why Parrot v1.9.0+ contains an option in Events to "Hide full overheals" which is enabled by default to avoid unnecessary spam.
Q: ''I want to use custom fonts and sounds in Parrot, but there are none available'
A: Parrot doesn't provide sounds or additional fonts (only the fonts included in WoW)
For additional fonts and sounds please install SharedMedia.
To use custom sounds and fonts see the "INSTRUCTIONS for MyMedia.txt" in the SharedMedia-folder.
Q: "Whenever I /reload or log back in again, parrot auto-hides blizzard's default outgoing damage text (the one above the mob in question). Is there any way to avoid having to enable blizz's functions all the time?
A: When enabled Parrot manages the settings for Blizzard FCTs damage- and heal-display. You can enable these features to be used with Parrot in the config (General->Game damage/healing)
Q: "Sometimes when Looting stackable items, the stackcount is off. Why isn't this fixed?"
A: The problem is, that the Interface-event for the Loot is sometimes triggered before, and sometimes after the item was put in the bag (depending on lag). If anyone knows a solution that does not involve constantly polling the bags' content, I'm open to suggestions.

When I test it, it shows fine. Am I doing something wrong?
HoTs only produce overheal if the overheal is partial
If the target is at full-health, the tick does not do anything in the combatlog (that's part of the reason why druids don't have much overheal in heal-meters)
-> it's a wow-issue
as for the "multiple"-text, I concur (missed it myself sometimes). Please create a ticket, and I'll look into it.
My Parrot seems to have forgotten how to show full direct overheals, it shows partial overheals, but not full ones. (It worked before I fiddled around with settings. Sadly, I can't remember what I actually changed.) This goes for the bloom of lifebloom as well, it used to show the full overheal, but now it shows nothing. :|
Also, is there any possibility of being able to choose if one wants the text (Multiple) show up or not when throttling events. In BGs it's a pain with my setup:
'+2121 [Wild Growth] (1234 OH) (Multiple) (3 hits) [Character-Defias Brotherhood]'
Actually, the possibility to change the order of all these things would be great. I know, I know, I can switch places between [Amount] [Skill] [Name] - even so, leaves me unable to decide where the OH amount shows and where and IF '(multiple)' shows up. It's a bit overkill to show both multiple and # hits.. seeing as they indicate the same thing, only the latter is more detailed.
Sorry for rant, but it's such an awesome addon, it's almost surprising there's no option for it.
imo this is the BEST ''Sct'' there is-turn Blizz's of completely, find some random dolls / players, and start casting, configure out what u don't like ( for me this is Incomming heals, outgoing heals and inncomming pet heals outgoing pet dmg )
it's very easy to configure, and u don't have to push any ''save'' button to make it stick. just Click or un-click the ''enabled'' square, and off you go :=)
id like to cfg it like i use to do with sct is it possible, like change collors?
if it is please tell me where?
What is the problem? Does anybody know how to fix it? Need that Add On!!
But the big issue is that icon thing I mentioned. The text is nice, but when you get a ton of stuff going off, it's nice to have that extra bit.
Also...how do you make the spell icon function properly on a custom trigger? Been trying to set something up on Art of War on live, and nothing I've tried with the name of the spell has worked.
As soon as I can afford spending more time coding. I suppose in a few weeks.
When will Parrot be able to display DoT crits? As an Affliction raider I only rely on Recount to see my DoT crits and only after the battle... Same goes for my shadow priest though I don't raid with him.
