Pet Theory
Improves upon the functionality of the PetJournal and information during Pet Battles and while wandering Azeroth.
Features
- Clearly displays rarity for both enemy and friendly pets during Pet Battles
- Shows which rarities and levels of Battle Pets have been captured in their tooltips and in Minimap tooltips.
- Displays rarity color for pets in the PetJournal, and displays rarity for non-wild pets.
- Displays a tooltip when hovering over pets in the PetJournal so you can easily see their passives, pros, and cons, without having to click on them first.
- Allows sorting by name, level, power, speed, health, and type in either ascending or descending order.
- Filter pets by zone.
- Double-click a pet in the PetJournal to summon it.

I dont know if its this addon or the PetBattle Info addon but I'm getting this:
Maybe the note needs to be achored to the bottom of the frame?
Also, would it be possible to add a note if the pet you are battling is not capturable i.e Ram, Gazelle? TYVM

Posted Oct 8, 2012Awesome addon, thanks for your work! My only "complain" is that with the pet journal open - my FPS are taking a hit, if I start scrolling up and down trying to find the pet - then my FPS hit rock bottom, resulting in much choppiness. Could it also affect FPS with the journal closed, or am I being paranoid? Anyway, it's a new addon so maybe you'll optimize the code and make it less cpu intensive & lightweight as time goes by. Cheers.

Posted Oct 8, 2012No idea why you'd be seeing impacted FPS unless another AddOn was reacting badly with the PetJournal. I don't do continual polling or anything like that...

Posted Oct 7, 2012Not too sure if this is known, but whenever I click on a pet, I lose all of my filters and doesn't show how rare the pet it or anything. Like the addon isn't loaded anymore until I scroll through the list.
Same issue. Kinda. Not showing that I caught a tiny Harvester even though I caught 2 of them

Posted Oct 7, 2012None. I just started pet battling last night and was looking for some addons and yours looked the best.

Could squire be causing the issue with the information not staying in the pet tab? And would tiptac be causing the problem with it not showing if i have captured certain pets?

And when I try to scroll down through my pets, it keeps scrolling back up to the top before I can do anything, but the scroll dragger stays where it is. Odd issues...

Posted Oct 6, 2012Unique count off again (was correct after I installed the latest 11.4 but now off by 1 (for now,)
Edit - When you first log in it seems to be correct. After capturing and/or releasing a few pets it gets off.
