Classes
There is too much spells handled by the add-on to list them here, see in game. But for a quick summary, it handles every speed increase spells.
Sets
In the Set Options category you will find several tabs.
- Companions and Mounts tabs: Here you can create sets and select which one is active for edition (If it is not the Default set you have to activate it before the add-on will use it, see bellow), when selecting companions or mounts in the Mounts List or the Companions List categories it will edit their respective active set.
- Default Sets category within Companions and Mounts tabs: Here you can create the default set of sets. This is useful if you want to create several sets and just use some of them as the default one. It is not mandatory and the add-on will search for a set named Default if nothing is set here. But if you have created a set and want to use it, it have to be selected here. Remember that the add-on will not use a custom set until asked for.
- Area Companions and Area Mounts tabs: Here you can define a set of sets for a given area, the add-on will use those sets if you are in that area.
Sets are saved on a global scope, they are not tied to the current profile, editing a set on a character will modify it for all your toons using that set. This is unique and all the other options are tied to the character profile (default set of sets, area set of sets, etc).
A set will not be considered active until it have at least one favorite selected.
Custom macros
You can edit the mount button macro, using classic macro syntax or LUA. As this feature is for advanced users I will not make a full documentation on it. Read the summary in game.
And if you import someone else code be sure to completely trust him/her. This code will be executed when clicking the button, and even if there is not threat for your account, you can still get griefed/scammed.
Other informations
Configuration panel
There is a lot of options, and I think more will come. But every option got a description in game, you are not alone. I will add here more information if something is reported unclear.
Commands
/petsandmounts (/pam is an alias)
/pam - Display the configuration panel /pam refresh - Force a pets and mounts databases refresh /pam show - Show the minimap button /pam resetzones - Reset the current zones database
/pampet - Random companion /pammount - Random mount (smart) /pamground - Random ground mount (forced) /pamfly - Random flying mount (forced) /pamaquatic - Random aquatic mount (forced) /pampassengers - Random passengers mount (forced) /pamsurface - Random surface mount (forced) /pamrepair - Random repair mount (forced)
Random summon
Here is the priority used by the add-on.
- Force one.
- Area override.
- Area (add-on forced, ex: vashj'ir, aq40). Can be disabled.
- Favorites and Area sets.
- All.
This can be altered by some items, the Magic Broom or the Haunted Memento for example. Those specifics instances can be disabled in the options panel.
Impact on the system
As every add-on relying on databases, it is using a lot of memory. Although it will not harass your CPU, especially in combat.
Support
If you find an error or have a suggestion, please use the tickets system. This is better as I instantly receive an E-mail. You can also help with the add-on localization.
Some features could not be available with the release version, as I edit the description when uploading new alpha. You can find all the add-on versions here.
You rock, was so happy to find it working better today.
Any way to prevent it from taking me out of moonkin form when mounting hotkey is pressed?
It should not, I will take a look.
Edit: It works as intended, but i am testing on a lvl 86 alt, maybe I miss something with WoD modifications to the druid.
Are you moving while pressing the button?
No not moving. I am using the glyph of stars that changes your moonkin form if that matters.
I am using the keybinding for random mount and it takes me out of moonkin. The /pammount works correctly and doesn't take me out of moonkin. The /pammount command doesn't seem to allow going to travel form while moving though.
Got it, Glyph of the Stag offset by one some of the forms. Fix on it's way.
Thank you for reporting it.
Perhaps I'm missing it, but is it possible to use the /pammount to summon the hybrid mounts in WoD? Or am I stuck using /pamhyrid? Ideally, I'd like to see the special hybrids and ground mounts while running around in WoD.
See my answer to shilum, 4 posts below.
Fix on it's way.
Great! Thanks. I got another question regarding companion pets. I'm just getting into things; I'm using macros exclusively. When you summon a random pet via /pampet, is there a way to have that random pet's icon populate as the macro button?
No I did not add such functionality.
I will take a look into it, but I cannot promise anything. Playing around with macros is a good way to create taints.
Are there options for class or race specific mounts, like the death knight mount or running wild for worgens? I haven't been able to find them anywhere.
Running Wild is planned, the Death Knight mounts are just regular mounts that can only be summoned by the class. You have to use the set system if you want to use them when playing a Death Knigh.
But, if you only want the dk mounts when playing a dk, use the profile for the dk class, and go to the Force One category in the options panel and set them here.
i have noticed that in wod this addon still summons flying mounts instead of just the hybrid or ground mounts. Is this intentional or is there a setting can use?
There is an issue with WoD areas, it is always returning isflying as true. I will push a new version with a temporary (i hope) fix that will force Draenor zones to set isflying as false.
This is from the Blizzard side, and it seem they like to reproduce the same bug every expansion.
Druid forms not being handled well, not switching appropriately.
You need to be more specific. For me it works as it should.
I perhaps got it, I noticed that the Glyph of the Stag give you Flight Form back. Fix on it's way.
I couldn't figure it out either, only thing I could do was let you know it was happening. TY for the quick fix, much appreciated.
Love the addon and thanks,, I am perhaps goofing up and cant get the buttons to assign right to key/mouse.. so I am wondering is there a way to macro the two buttons? I understand the lists, profiles, and everything for some reason I just cant pattern it to my mouse so if I can make a macro I can set bartender to handle the mouse functionality.
Hope the question made sense....
Thanks!
If you are trying to bind the buttons with the Bartender binding tools it will not work, you have to use the addon options or the Blizzard's binding panel.
Either way those commands are available:
