Posted Aug 28, 2009I was using Pitbull 3 and had it set so that health bars for my targets, pets, focus, and target's target were class colored. This worked for all mods, whether they were players or NPC mobs. I then reset my profile accidentally and from then on, even though "class color" was checked in the health bar section, NPC mob health always used the health gradient colors.
I switched to Pitbull 4 now and I would like to know how to make the health bars for my target, target's target, focus, and pet show up class colored. I have the Class Color check boxes checked, and when I target myself or any other player the health bar is Class Colored, but not for NPC mobs.
I know that it did work in PB3 but after messing up my profile I couldn't get it to work again, and I am having the same problem in PB4. Class colored text works correctly for all targets however.
Please help

Posted Aug 25, 2009How would I replace these colors for hex codes for more specific colors?
[MP(known=false, unit="player"):Cyan " | ":Red] [MaxMP(known=false, unit="player"):Yellow]
Also what do I use for target and target of target? Or do I need to create a new layout?

Posted Aug 22, 2009Or do I have to totally wipe out PB3 before installing PB4?
I just don't want to lose my PB3 settings and functionality until I make the switch.

Posted Aug 20, 2009Firstly, thanks for a great new version of the greatest UF addon around.
Secondly, a minor gripe / suggestion about the RangeFader-module. The current fallback for range checks seems to be CheckInteractDistance with parameter 2 (Trade), which isn't very helpful. For example on my hunter (where the fallback is used for friendly player checks), I use the range check to see if I'm in range of healers, if everyone is in the vicinity or still running after a wipe etc, and a 11-yard check (Trade) simply doesn't work for any of that. I am in fact quite stumped to come up with any scenario, other than checking if I can trade with someone obviously, where the 11-yard check is very useful.
So my suggested solution is just to change the CheckInteractDistance parameters to 1 (which is Inspect, 28 yards) which much better approximates helpful spells, or if there is some compelling rationale why the 11-yard option (Trade) should be preserved, at least add an option to RangeFader in the ingame configuration to change the parameter.
I hope this didn't come off too much as a personal request (I can always do a quick search&replace on the RangeFinder code for myself); I do think that this change would make the addon better for a large number of players.
Thanks again for what for me is probably the last addon to go if I was forced to give them up :>

Posted Aug 19, 2009For example, fighting 3 mobs with marks on them, without a target- all the 3 of them are stacked on eachother and are never removed :(
