PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Thank you, Shefki. Should've checked the tickets first. Other than that, I love Pitbull, and since you know it's the config frames, I now know how to avoid the problem altogether. Thanks again!
I'm only writing here to ask if there's anyway to set the arena ennemy frame to show up in arena PVP battles ?
Thanks for the answer !
old cut:
["PitBull"] = {
["CasterPlayerBar"] = "PitBullUnitFrame1";
["CasterTargetBar"] = "PitBullUnitFrame3";
["CasterPartyBar"] = "PitBullCluster";
};
};
New edit:
["PitBull4"] = {
["CasterPlayerBar"] = "PitBull4_Frames_player"; <--- this line works
["CasterTargetBar"] = "PitBull4_Frames_target";
["CasterPartyBar"] = "PitBull4_Groups_Party";
};
};
i tryed to edit it to work with pitbull4 but the only line i can get to work is the player frame. can someone tell me what the other 2 housl be edited to so that also can work with pitbull4
i am trying to get Benecaster to work with pitbull4. this cut is out of the benecaster file and was made to work with the 1st pitbull:

I just installed Pitbull4 today, and noticed, that I can only have the Blizzard texture as my bar texture. I have changed it to smooth, but nothing changes. Any ideas?
yoshi244, Looks like Blizzard removed that method on textures, I'm not sure if this is deliberate or not at this point.
Also please don't paste errors like this into comments, especially PTR errors. Open tickets.
On PTR 3.3.3 I've been getting this with Pitbull4 whenever I click on someone else.

CMK, There's a ticket open on this: http://www.wowace.com/addons/pitbull4/tickets/223-mouse-interaction/
It's actually a Blizzard bug that causes some of the configuration frames to get broken somehow. As you pointed out the frames are unidentifiable with the script you're using. They don't show up using /framestack, they don't respond to hiding them. There's just flat out nothing we can do.
The only suggestion I can make to you is if this impacts you to reload the UI after you touch the configuration. Sorry I don't have any better solution.
I've been having an issue with "invisible" frames popping up on my screen which allow no click-through and are unidentifiable using the
Script as a macro. I'm positive it's Pitbull, as it only happens after "group" type frames are present and then gone. For example, I'll login, enable 25-man config mode for Pitbull, then disable it. Now suddenly there are small bits on my screen, indiscernible by sight, which stick to certain locations on my screen. Since they allow no click-through, I find myself trying to right-click a mob and being unable to, or trying to swing the camera around with the mouse and clicking on some invisible thing in my UI. I know this sounds awfully vague, so if there's anything I can do to clarify then let me know.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that a UI reload does eliminate these invisible frames.
So basically if I have 20000 as full HP, I want 20000/20000 to show in the top right corner of the health bar and 100% to be shown in the bottom right instead of them being beside each other.
If anyone knows what I mean and can help me I would be really grateful.
Hi, I just switched to pitbull 4 a few days ago from xperl, and I really love it. Is there anyway to have my target frame only show my hit indicators, rather than all incoming damage? I was trying to find it within the UI, but I either looked over it or it's not there. That's really the only feature about xperl that I wish I could duplicate with pitbull. Other than that great addon!
Great job, please keep it up! I can't fathom going back to one of the other unit frame addons.
