PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

i have a big problem with this addon

it has conflict with almost all maps addons and even with the blizzard map
the blizzard map can't move, metamap when i click on the zones pulldown menu it expire instantly, same with cartographer and mapster....

is it only my problem or you all have that too ???
it can be fixed?

i noticed that if i disable ace3 metamap works,
but pitbull send continuously lua errors when i close the error log
also if i disable pitbull the map works.... i can't imagine why it does like this

I bet there are ways to exactly trace the errors and see whats going wrong there, but I'm not the right guy to tell you how.

Best chances if you ask me are to delete your WTF (no, not 'what the fuck') folder, and redo all addons. If not all, maybe try to remove only those saved variables of the addons that may cause the issue. Or cut them to another folder for a while so you can restore them if it doesn't fix anything.

None of them Jonostra. The module is enabled, opacity is at 100%.

Yesterday it worked fine, but today I followed customizing it and mana bar was grey.

I see its set on the 'Normal' layout, but just to be sure.. Have you selected your 'Player' unit to fall under the 'Normal' layout at the 'Units' tab? If not, you can make all the changes you want, but it won't have any effect. (Like so: http://img59.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot041810195601.jpg/)

hello i seem to have a problem with pitbull i seem to have a bar next to my avatar's bar.

It looks like you have a bar turned on and customized to be vertical. Possibilities include, reputation, threat, experience or possibly a blank bar that you have colored purple. To find out which it is, go to your layout that you have set up for your current frame and look to see which of those bars you have enabled. You can turn one on and off just by checking and unchecking the "enable" box. It should disappear when you find the correct bar.

Just installed the addon, and after some hours of customizing it, the color of my power bars has gone! I've tried to pick a color manually, but didn't work. Any tip?

Have you changed the opacity to 0% maybe? Or unchecked the power bar box?

Hello guyz.
I have some problems and i want help.
I dont want to see in my portrait (player) my buffs and debuffs, but i want when i click a player (target) to be able to see what buffs he has and only my debuffs.

Also Pitbull is very good addon.

Make a new layout, go to Units and set 'target' (and target's target, etc) to that new layout. Then at the Auras tab you can select that new layout and set the buffs and debuffs. Under that tab you can also edit your 'player' layout to disable the buffs and debuffs.

To see only your own buffs and debuffs simply set the aura filter to 'Default buffs, mine' and 'Default debuffs, mine'. If you want to change the module, you have to make a new one. Cause the default settings will restore once you've logged. The new ones you make will copy the current, so its not too much of a hassle.

I know my PC does that when I select to simulate a 25man raid. Maybe its cause of your computer specs? I don't know how light (or heavy) pitbull is.. But maybe that's causing it.

I have a problem with pitbull dogtag, it uses 30% of the cpu, and every time i click a player or npc without having a previous target the screen freezes like half a second, and i dont know what to do about it.

I'd recommend not using DogTags anymore. The library is not actively worked on by anyone anymore really.

What aura filters are resetting on you? They shouldn't be and anything that will should be protected to prevent you from doing something that will be undone.
