PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

@jericho, See the guides for setting up your raid frames. If you want the Blizzard raid frames turn them on with /pb, Modules, HideBlizzard, Uncheck Raid
@lordvance, Should be fixed in the current alpha or the next release.
@ukingsken, Probably some sort of overlapping frame, use /framestack to see what's under your mouse. Frames in a lighter blue or tan (instead of orange) are clickable. When you've got framestack place the mouse over the area you can't click on. If you're not sure how to interpret the output feel free to post a screenshot and I can do it.
Regarding the status, remove the local s=Status(unit) if s then return s end code at the top of the health text code.
So I was wondering. Why is it that in my raid frame the person in the top left spot has a very small clickable area, and how can I make player status like away not show up on raid frames?
Has anyone else hadthis problem?
I know that you can use the portrait module to get class icons, but under current implementation its class icon or portrait and not both.
When I try to right-click off of a buff (the default Blizzard buffs, no mod to handle it for now) I get an error:
"An interface addon has prevented an action: Pitbull 4 - would you like to ignore, or disable?" (or similar wording) and the aura does not dismiss as it should.
EDIT: Awesome, thanks for the quick response!
1 - Are you using the latest PB4 release (beta13)?
2 - Which text client and which specific text codes have you tried?
- I tried to test this with both î and á and both of those showed up for me with just the default :|
Hi, ever since moving to PB4 I have not been able to bring up my Raid frames at all. I was having this issue with my Party frames and fixed that, but am unable to get Raid frames of any type to show up on screen.
@Shefki Understandable really, just thought it best to check with both authors in case it was a known issue or something similar.
@Kitjan Surely that just parents it to the party frames in general? I have 1 background for each of the 4 units in a party so parenting them to the entire group would bring up extra panels when they are not needed.
Please also include the full error message.
