PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
PitBull Unit Frames 4.0
Woof. Arf. Yip.
Getting Started:
You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.
Classic
PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in
v4.3.x-vanilla
releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x
releases
(the same releases retail use).
Classic Era caveats:
- Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
- Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Do you have any bar backgrounds that are not set to be fully opaque?
@tnbp I sadly do not have an ETA, but you can still configure those groups "live" The only broken part is seeing "dummy" frames. Invite a friend or an alt to make a raid and set some of you as the tanks. Then just build on that group.
If you are using the guide, just build the layouts and groups as described and then invite your friends to test it out and perfect your layout.
We are working on the issue, unfortunately this is one of those times when non-WoW things are eating up a huge chunk of our time as well. :(
Thanks in advance for your help and an awesome add on.
What happened to being able to right click off my auras?
With patch 4.0 Blizzard added code protection to the Buff and Debuff frames.(Auras) (This was to prevent add ons from automatically removing buffs for players, which in some situations was a bit exploitive.) The current Aura modules was built around the ability to sort and filter which buffs you see. (So you can exclude seeing some buffs, set it to see which are expiring first, etc.) Unfortunately not all of that same functionality is available with the now protected ability to right-click remove. In order to provide the ability to right-click remove a new Aura module will need to be written. When its implemented you will be able to choose which Aura module you wish to use and know what the limitations are on both. This will take some time to implement. In the meantime you can turn on the default Blizzard Auras, Write a /cancelaura macro or use an additional buff add on that will allow you to right-click remove. We do appreciate your patience.
My problem is that I cannot Disspell my own "Friendly" buffs and I've been looking around but cannot find any tab or support page that tells me how to enable the click away friendly buffs, wow's normal UI can remove friendly buffs, can't Pitbull or did I miss anything?
Thanks in advance
We do have to prioritize things. Generally bugs/defects come first, then implementations of new features.
I think I'm a pretty understanding person... but every couple months or so I put my foot down and insist that I take priority over strangers add on requests just so I can get a night out and see a movie. (Btw "The Town" in September was pretty good imo.)

Any idea on an ETA for when we can use the config function for groups, again? I'm hoping to set up some main tank windows (a la oRA2) but that feature is disabled in the latest build.
I am going to take a stab in the dark and say it probably has to do with how the game updates spellcasts, or refresh rate on that bar.
Anyway... what is your "Empty Opacity" set to on your cast bar?
Empty Opacity is at 100%. Looks just the way I want it while idle and while casting; but after a cast is finished/interrupted both Full and Empty opacities fade to 0. After it reaches 0 Idle background kicks back in and Empty Opacity returns to 100. What I was trying to find out is, is there a way to prevent Empty Opacity from dropping 0 along with the Full.
